“Enjoyable week stay”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

Spent 5 full days here in downtown St Louis. The hotel was convenient to downtown activities and very enjoyable. Room was very nice overall, beautiful walk in tile shower which I prefer over a slippery tub, air conditioning quiet and powerful. Staff was very polite and helpful. Bar and restaurant were enjoyable and reasonably priced. Food during the week for our conference I was attending was very good, tasty, and a good variety. I was pleased overall with my stay and would have no hesitation staying here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a full view of the arch. Many are angled so that you only see partial views.

If you are looking for a centrally located hotel, large rooms, and great customer service, then this is the hotel for you. Upon arriving, check in was a breeze. Very polite, and helpful staff. We changed rooms on 3 occasions; however, it was painless. The first two rooms were very nice, but for some reason, I could hear a strange noise throughout the night like pulleys or wires inside the walls, but never the less, we ended up with a corner room and all problems ceased. On each move, the front desk did the entire move! The breakfast buffet was excellent! The dinner options were great also; I'm a steak lover and for those who feel the same "Ruth Chris" and I'll leave it at that. I can go on and on about the hotel and location, but service gets me every time. The hotel itself can use some tweaking here and there, but not enough for me to make a big deal about. I would definitely stay here again.

The best thing about the hotel is the location - next to attractions, restaurants and bars. If you want to go to a Cardinals' game, it's the best option.

Rooms are big and clean, although they need some maintenance.

Breakfast is very good although a bit expensive.

Room Tip: Avoid higher floors - elevators take time to be available

A very big hotel and one could be afraid of big lines but everything here went smoothly. Check-in and out by e-mail was also a very nice feature. The best location in St. Louis with the Arch, stadium, restaurants and shopping is literally outside the hotel door. Expensive and slow in house parking (if available). Use the public parking house 2 min. walk from the hotel.

This hotel was fabulous and I loved every minute of our stay. When we pulled into the hotel it was very busy, but to me that makes me feel like it is a good hotel because a lot of people are here. We did't have to wait for very long to get checked in, when you got to the front of the line a man would escort you or show you which receptionist would be open next. The receptionists were very nice and very professional. When we got to our room it was very nice and spacious! The bed was so comfortable and I had a great nights sleep! This hotel is located right in the heart of St. Louis and so we were able to walk to the Cardinal's stadium and the Arch with no problems and I felt safe walking to these areas. They have an option that you can order breakfast and have it delivered to your room in the morning, my husband and I have never done this before and thought it would be fun. We ordered the french toast and the apple pancakes and they were both delicious. They are a bit pricey but it was almost the same price of going to a restaurant but it was delivered to our room and we had breakfast in bed. When ordering the breakfast you can chose which time the breakfast came and they came right on time and the service was great. I thought that the hotel came with free parking but it doesn't it comes with valet which is $28 for the 24 hours. I would definitely stay here again when my husband and I come back to St. Louis, it is a little pricey for the hotel but I thought it was well worth it!

One of the best hotels I have slept in. Wonderful view on the Arch. The park and the Arch are just across the street .Very warm welcome. Helpful staff. Very clean rooms . Nice brewery restaurant. Many facilities and complementary items inside the hotel . I loved staying there!. Fortunately because the downtown area is very poor . There was not much outside the hotel except a few places where we could eat or drink something.
The town should work on it.
Francoise C.

Room Tip: Take a room with a view on the Arch

This hotel is a great location for downtown. The staff was so nice! We loved the good and service. Rooms were clean, only downfall was no pool for the kids. We will stay again when we visit the area! Price for the room was great! Highly recommend when visiting St. Louis !
