Very cool albeit older hotel. Had two teenagers with us who really enjoyed the "antique" feel. Rooms are small and the layout is a little strange. Needs new carpet. The pool and hot tub were nice enough. Close to everything and the hotel staff is amazing! They went out of their way so many times for us. We would stay again!

Stayed here for 2 nights, and felt extremely underdressed, the club is mainly accessible by members only but they do have the Jack Buck dining room which is nice. Staff was very helpful and the room service breakfast was delicious! We had the omelette and French toast and it was great!

The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing or sporting events as it is across the street from the Edward Jones Dome, and only a couple blocks from Busch Stadium!

I would stay again but make sure to bring collared shirts and different dress attire as this is a higher class club.

This property is a private club which has recently been opened up to the public. It is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of downtown St. Louis. It is within walking distance of Busch Stadium, although the hotel provides a free shuttle beginning one hour before a game. The Arch is very close as well. You don't see hotels like this one any more. There are deep, rich woods in the common areas. The rooms have been updated with flat screen tvs and fresh bathroom fixtures. The staff is amazing and so accommodating. This hotel has a card room, billiard room, and a gymnasium. We asked the front desk for a deck of playing cards--no problem. We got a brand new deck and used the card room until 1am. We had it all to ourselves! We would definitely recommend this hotel, and we hope to stay here again.

When first walking into the hotel I was very pleased, it was very nice and I loved the old time feel. Then we got to the room. The room was clean but was extremely cold and there wasn't a way to control the temperature. The bathroom looked like a stall from a locker room. Shower was extremely small and I am 5'1" and felt cramped. We went to a Cardinal's game and was a great walk to and from. You can hear all of the traffic from the streets and you can hear everything in the hallway and rooms next to you. I wasn't able to fall asleep until after 3 am when the traffic stopped after all the bars closed downtown.

Just what we were looking for since we didn't have a car ,easy access to several bars/restaurants with one bar just across the street, Irish pub with some live music and good atmosphere, Busch stadium, Lacledes Landing , St Louis Arch +several other interesting things to see and do with minimal cost within walking distance, some good blues music down south on Broadway street with a short cab drive. The hotel itself was very clean with a very old school feel to it ,very nice lobby with a very friendly staff, lots of beautiful wood work we enjoyed our stay and we got what we read on other guests reviews we had a wonderful time in this historic city......
