Might have already reviewed through the hotel website, but we really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, helpful staff, friendly, clean rooms, nice pool area. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The front desk employees were very kind and inviting. Room was clean. I’d say average in size. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel called Sybergs. The food there is really good and convenient if you don’t want to leave. I had the Cajun fish tacos and they were great. The hotel also has a snack time in the evenings. They had free popcorn and fountain drinks. We attended a baseball game at Busch Stadium. The hotel did not provide a shuttle service, but they did have a phone number for volunteer drivers. Breakfast was typical hot breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc). It was good and fresh. I would stay here again.

We stayed overnight for my daughter's appointment at Shriner's. The breakfast was lovely. They had a pool. We had plenty of peace and quiet. The rooms were clean and they supply an ample amount of soaps in the bathroom. No real complaints!

Very comfy sheets, wonderful water pressure in shower, super clean room and lobby/dining area, up-to-date room with refrigerator and microwave. We enjoyed the free snacks and my 3 free drinks per night (although a few more choices of adult beverages would have been nice. Only Bud Light or a choice of wine.) Helpful and friendly staff, for the most part. Only complaints: The pool and hot tub were quite small and were crowded during peak times. Our room didn't get cleaned until after 4:00 in the afternoon after our first night, and didn't get cleaned at all after our second. Not sure why. Also, the hallway on our floor could have used a vacuuming. All in all, a pleasant stay.

When we drove up to check-in, we watched a drug deal taking place with the car leaving the parking lot. I should have ran right that moment. Stupidly I checked my family in.....which only coat us 47 minutes. By this time we've now missed happy hour and of course, my kids are hungry and sick of riding. The desk attendants couldn't care less. They were more interested in pouring drinks for guests already checked in. We requested adjoining rooms; which we received! However, with no help from our inquiry to the front desk - none of our keys were ever made to work on one of the doors. This meant no privacy for anyone! Low and behold we are all unpacked, taking a deep breath from hours of driving and waiting to be checked-in.....granted parking is 1/2 a block walk BEHIND the building and butted up next to the homeless courtyard where two men are making their beds and another is walking through. Oh wait! What do we have here? Drug enforcement agency is running their drug dog through parked cars in the hotel parking lot.
Why didn't I pack us up then? Pure stupidity! I now get to the room and discover a blood red substance on the floor between the beds and splattered on the ceiling. KIDS, DON'T TOUCH THAT!
Let's take a dip in the pool, shall we? Have mercy, the water must have some sort of oatmeal bath added.....its a grey and cloudy color and luke warm. Bedtime was interesting....lumps and bumps for a mattress but none of us want to wake up stuck to the floor. Wide awake at 4am, oh joy. Now, let's go down for break.....fast. The eggs and sausage were delicious if you were willing to slip and slide through all the food on the floor.
We couldn't check out fast enough! Never again. I'll suck it up and pay mid $400 to stay downtown.
