If you like barbeque do not miss this place. I have eaten at many barbecue's but this is the best. The ribs are to die for and the potato salad and baked beans are wonderful. You will not find better customer service anywhere. Worth driving to St. Louis for!

“ROCKING GOOD BBQ!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2013

We ate at Bogarts for lunch and found it was worth the drive. It took only 10-15 minutes to get our order, the weather was beautiful (08/21/13) l so we grabbed a table outside. It's a small place so only a few tables inside. The ribs and beans were my favorite. If you get chips it's a "rule" you have to dip them in the beans. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome bbq! Owned by one of the guys from Pappy's which is also wonderful. Nice area. If you go to Soulard market on the weekends you HAVE to get lunch here. The staff are great. Small quaint place about the food, as it should be.

“Awesome place, Awesome BBQ !!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2013

The future wife and I were headed up to St. Louis to pick up two dresses for the bridesmaids, while on the way I asked her where she wanted to eat. It didn't matter to her so I said, grab the phone and pull up trip advisor and look up some food in the city. Bogart's Smokehouse popped up as one of the top rated so we decided to give it a try. We had to wait in line for prolly about 15-20 minutes until we were able to order, we both had the same meal, BBQ pork with baked beans, chips and a drink. The pork seemed to be a bit dry, but I'm not holding that against this place because it was so tender it would basically melt in your mouth. The baked beans had a different type of taste, but a very good one though, kinda curious what that recipe is. There is not a lot of seating in this place, but there are also tables outside if that's what you desire. Good atmosphere, good food, good times.
