“Great atmosphere and sound!”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

Craig Morgan performed a special show here, only for the attendees of our convention. What a beautiful place to have a concert! The architecture and statues outside are beautiful and the interior is even more so! Nice seating and great sound!

“Don't understand the hype”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

We saw Hall and Oats at the Peabody Opera House recently. The Peabody is really beautiful. There is parking down the street. This was our first time seeing a concert at the Peabody. I would recommend buying tickets that are down low and not mezzanine b/c the seats are very very high. I had always heard people say that the Peabody was small but it is not. And for concerts there are no jumbo trons to see the faces of performers if you sit far away. There were some sound issues for the first couple songs, but then they sounded good.

“Beautiful venue!”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

Be sure and check to see who is playing at the Peabody when you visit! So many famous musicians have appeared there (Elvis, the Rat Pack, Rolling Stones, etc.)The Peabody was formerly known as the Kiel Opera House. I just saw Harry Connick,Jr. at the Peabody. Every seat is an excellent seat. Venue is not massive, which makes for more of an intimate evening with the performer. Acoustics are very good!

“Attended a concert”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

Went to Peabody for a Hall and Oats concert. Staff is friendly and always eager to help find your seat they also did a good job of keeping the cell phones users/recorders in check. Even though it's a smaller venue it does go up very high with little leg room if your over 6ft. I would try to sit in at least lower two sections if possible but the sound was good everywhere.

“Great place for music. Lorde!”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

Saw a concert here. Sat front row.

The sound quality was excellent. You could feel the music but it wasn't so loud that you couldn't understand the lyrics.

The staff was helpful yet pretty strict so don't expect to go to the front for a selfie if you don't have tickets to get there.

We paid extra for the parking and it was worth the $25 to park in the garage right next to the venue.

They offer food and drinks but they are a little on the expensive side.

Overall, not a cheap night out but you get what you pay for and to me it was well worth the money.
