Concordia Seminary, in its current location, was constructed in 1925. The architecture is beautiful, and the carillon tower is amazing. Park and stroll across beautiful lawns, enjoy the serenity of enclosed quads, and stop to pray in the beautiful Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus (daily chapel services are open to the public). Parking is free, and the seminary offers free tours with tons of information.

This is a beautiful chapel. Very simple and restful. It's part of Concordia (Lutheran) Seminary. They hold daily chapel services that are open to the public. Recently I went to a Bach At the Sem concert in this chapel. Bach At the Sem is a concert series devoted to music of Johann Sebastian Bach. The concert was packed! The level of performance was very high, which was a pleasant surprise. Concerts include a chorus and orchestra made up of local singers, seminarians from Concordia Seminary, and free-lance musicians. Organists play sometimes, too. Bonus: it's free.
Here's some pictures of the Chapel itself: http://hoursofidleness.wordpress.com/2011/08/13/concordia-seminary/
