Dropped by the Shrine, unfortunately was locked. I didn't feel too great about trying to find the rectory and a person to let us in. But it's super pretty from the outside!

Grace, we are sorry we missed you.
The Shrine is managed by volunteers, so we aren't available every day of the week.
Generally, we have staff at the Shrine on Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 2pm. On Friday from 8am-4pm.
We can happily coordinate a visit. Call 314 231-9407, or email info@shrineofstjoseph.org to setup a time that works for you.

Thanks for visiting the Shrine. The Shrine has one weely mass at 11am on Sunday. A tour follows, so be sure to ask an usher to let them know you are interested in a tour after mass. The Shrine is managed by volunteers, so we aren't available every day of the week, but will gladly coordinate a visit. Call 314 231-9407 to setup a time that works for you.

“So Much History and Majesty”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

This church is also known as the Church of Miracles because of the miracle that is attributed to it. It is reminiscent of the stately churches of Europe, and is a wonderful place to visit. So many beautiful weddings take place here because it is so spectacular.

“Beautiful church”
Reviewed 7 August 2013

This is a fabulous church to visit. It is like some of the beautiful churches in a bad area of town. You can see the arch from it but beware of the one way streets they can get confusing when you are trying to get there and get out.

“No need to go to Rome”
Reviewed 29 July 2013 via mobile

Ok, so it's not Rome, but this cathedral offers such spiritual beauty, it will take your breath away. My cousin was married there, and it was amazing! If your there for a wedding, a day of worship or just to tour, you will not be disappointed!
