Owner description: The Fabulous Fox Theatre first opened in 1929 as a movie palace in William Fox's motion picture empire. The theatre was reopened in 1982, and today it is one of the most exquisite venues in the country to enjoy live touring Broadway shows, concerts, and comedians. We hope you'll visit us for an upcoming show or one of our guided tours!

The history. The Fox is old but also so well taken care of. I don't think I have ever seen someone come into the main doors and not have their jaw drop at the sight. There is so much history all around and even in the bathrooms.

The Fox is a STL landmark. The theatre is a great venue with intricate artwork everywhere you look. A definite must when you visit St. Louis

you have to sit no more that 25 rows back or else you get lost in the cave....it is beautiful.....a great wpa project...but the farther you sit back or up in the mezzanine etc....forget about it.....the best time I had..i got a free ticket and had to set up in one of the cubicles at the very top//////it was fantastic from a music standpoint.....but to see who was singing......just dots of light.
