We've been to this delighful place many times when it was a Logis. It is now a chambre d'hote with evening meals on request run single-handedly by Mme Christianne who is a little dynamo. As far as I can see her only help is a young woman who cleans the rooms.
There were few visitors while we we there apart from some British cyclists but Mme coped splendidly and produced some excellent meals, both suppers and breakfasts. We were lucky enough to get a big family room overlooking the entry drive but some of the rooms at the back tend to be rather small. The pool is beautifully situated and, on a warm evening, one dines at tables around it. This time it was cooler but I did manage a swim every day (just!)
Well situated for visiting the hill villages of Haute Provence/Provence Verte and particularly neighbouring Barjols with it's fountains and markets. Barjols is a real Provencal working village, not particularly touristy
A warning. On paying the bill the credit card machine was not working and I had to go down to Barjols to withdraw cash. Hopefully this has been fixed.
Mme Christianne leaves for Paris shortly and the hotel will be closed until about March/April. Worth checkingMore
