“Solid accommodation in heaven!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 July 2014

Very comfortable bedding. Breakfast was Denny's buffet on its worst day. Dinner was 5*...absolutely delicious! Easy access to all attractions--Big Sky, Gallatin River fishing, Yellowstone NP, and the views are spectacular. We attended a wedding and big recommendation is to limit motorcycle access during ceremonies.

Thank you for sharing the experience you had at Buck's. Our guests' observations are the most important barometer we have of our degree of success in our goal of providing top-notch Montana hospitality. I'm glad you enjoyed your night's sleep and experience at dinner. I apologize that we missed the mark in our breakfast. We take your comments seriously and are monitoring our included full hot breakfast experience to ensure we are clearly differentiated from what you would find in a chain restaurant.

You make a good point about wedding ceremonies in our garden and the noise that can accompany arriving guests. We have been discussing the issue internally and are working to identify a solution. Thanks again for taking the time to help us improve.

Kind Regards,
David OConnor

I have stayed here twice and both times the service was exceptional, public bathroom's aroma was refreshing, table linens on tables for business meetings, outdoor seating areas are very inviting and comfortable, the food is high standard, and the beds were nice and firm.

Excellent service from beginning to end... The rooms and lobby are comfortable and nice. I liked the game room. You can sit down and eat or eat in the bar area. Family friendly too. I enjoyed the hot tub.

Room Tip: Game room is great for adults and kids. I enjoyed the breakfast and hot tub

The room was wonderful, the bed was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was excellent ensuring we had everything we needed. It was 45 minutes from Yellowstone National Park, but Big Sky had so many other opportunities to do things with the family that was close to the hotel. They also had an excellent breakfast buffet and access to shopping or horse back riding. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a beautiful place to stay.

The first room we were given was a little noisy (for me, a light sleeper). The manager was SUPER nice about changing our room, and we all had a great night's sleep.

Nicely appointed room. Our tall son (6'3") was completely comfortable on the sofa bed (pullout), and the king bed for my husband and me was great.

Wonderful restaurant, very creative chef. Complimentary breakfast (eggs, bacon, homemade biscuits, fruit, etc) was tasty and gave us a great start to the day!

Would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms in the buildings away from the highway are probably quieter, though we were fine in a closer b...

Our room and beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We appreciated being allowed to bring our dog. We didn't see much of the property because we arrived late. We wished we could have tried the restaurant for dinner but could not fit it into our plans. We didn't get to try much breakfast, either. When we arrived at 8:15 the hot food was gone. What we saw other guests eating looked quite good. We hoped since they served until 9 more food would be brought out, but we never even saw an attendant in the dining room. We had toast and fruit. We would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Rooms large, comfortable beds, very clean. The complimentary breakfast is a must to start your day. The restaurant on site is excellent.Met one of the owners, Chuck at dinner one night who told us about the history of the lodge. Please don't pass up having dessert after dinner especially a long time favorite, Russian Creme Raspberry, absolutely delicious! I hope to get the recipe from Chuck. Definitely we would go back.
