Most of the staff is pretty cool and accommodating the beds comfy I just wish they would check the blanket a bit more before putting them on and the towels they also seem to skip cleaning the iPod deck and the drawers The breakfast is well worth it I just wish it was pushed back to maybe 10 AM instead of 9 AM as the stopping point I also wish that all the buildings are connected because it's kind of a pain to keep walking back-and-forth to the main office however the office has a lot of supplies if you forget something they'll give it to you free of charge You can also use their computer and printer that has color they always have coffee and tea in the lounge area with cups and covers if you stay on the bottom floor you will not have any AC we did not know that also the bottom floor is kind of like the basement level so it upsets my allergies try to get a room that's facing away from the garden that way you can get the nature view

We have been traveling around the country for the last four weeks and I booked Buck's because they were rated highly. We went from Red Lodge, MT to Yellowstone and then to Buck's not knowing what to expect. When we got there they told us that a pipe had broken in our room and they couldn't fix it before we got there. The then told us they would put us up in the Big Sky Resort for the same price and they gave us a $75 gift certificate to eat at their restaurant. They did way more then they had to and we were quite surprised at how very, very nice the Big Sky Resort was.
Plus, the restaurant was FANTASTIC. These people really know how to run a hotel.
This place is a must if you need to stay in Big Sky and the restaurant is Great.

We stayed here on our way to Yellowstone National Park. (West Yellowstone,MT entrance). Upon a late night arrival we had a Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Clean updated room. Close to rafting, fishing and Big Sky skiing!

Room Tip: No elevator to 2nd floor rooms in auxiliary building. (Heavy suitcases)...

We flew into Bozeman Montana and drove to Big Sky for the night.
Enjoyed the location and helpful staff.
The breakfast buffet was perfect and plenty to choose from.
Drove the area and took some pictures before heading to Yellowstone.

Checked in late and we were greeted warmly. Got upgraded to a suite which was wonderful on the main floor across from the main building. Super quiet.. even by the main road. The hottubs were never crowded and all staff were all super nice and accomadating. The breakfast every morning was outstanding-real eggs, amazingly fresh fruit, bbiscuits and gravy are out of this world. Calvin the breakfast chef knows how to do it right! The breakfast comes with the price of the room which was very reasonable. Plenty of outlets for plugging in our electronics,, the tvs were easy to use and channels aplenty. Super comfortable beds and nice above grade sheets. Our ac worked great..bathroom was huge with shower only. Sat outat fireplace almost every night to ward off chill and chill out...great environment. Ate a restaurant one night and it was very good. I had bison steak..hubby had red deer ..all was excellent. Friends had ribs and seafood stew. Ribs were a little dry but stew was excellent,. split the skillet chocolate chip cookie which of course was indulgent and delicious. Also got the whiskey flight which was an adventure..interesting but good. We enjoyed our 50 minute drive to Yellowstone evrry day and the same time to get to bozeman. The views here are breathtaking as Big Sky is 5 minutes away. The only negative is the ice machine is located on the 2nd floor of the main building. They explained to u s the reason is so it won't freeze in the winter. Very delightful place to stay...would definitely stay here sgain!!
