My girlfriend and I went into El Topo one evening for a quick bite to eat and really had a great experience. The food was definitely decent (we're in Montana for crying out loud) and our server (who also happened to be the owner and chef) was more than cordial. He chatted us up and really made us feel at home in his place. We got there kind of late and, being in the service industry ourselves, we didn't want to make the kitchen staff work longer than necessary, but he informed us that he was the kitchen staff and it would essentially be his pleasure to make us dinner. Anyway, we had a great time and enjoyed a nice Mexitanan meal!
