I would like to start off by saying if i was only rating on the food than this would have been an "excellent" rating. I have been traveling for three weeks in Montana and was so excited to find this little gem. The little town of Big Folk was super quite but when we entered here it was apparent it was the place to be. With that said we were not greeted and we found ourselves awkwardly standing there trying to "figure out their seating system." Finally a real pretty blonde approach us and asked if we wanted to sit outside. After sitting outside for awhile it became apparent why no one wanted to sit outside..the bees where everywhere. We asked to move inside. I was excited to sit at the bar for two reason 1) this was the first Sushi restaurant where all the chiefs where women 2) The chiefs usually talk to you. Well..no one talked to us...no one even asked how our meal was or even said good bye. In any case, I would go back here. The sushi is Great..the service sucks.

My husband and I ate here with out two children while in vacation. We ate early (5:30 PM) and found it to be a good restaurant for our family. The kids loved the edema me and our waitress customized a sushi roll for our son. Loved the Bigfork roll--great recommendation from our waitress. Cute restaurant décor!

Extensive and creative sushi menu, and a wide selection of sake. Hipster-friendly crowd and staff, with the appropriate music pounding out of the speakers. Tiny little eatery.

Outside of sushi, sashimi, etc. the menu is pretty limited. They're more in The style of a bistro or a tapas place, so I understand a full kitchen is out of the question.

But, they could stand to add a few quick hot noodle-and-rice dishes and soups, to help mediate the effects of the sake.

Went on a Thursday night at 5pm. Our party of 8 was not the first there. It really started picking up after 6pm. With the addition of 5 other parties, the service stayed consistent (water, new adult beverages, additional rolls) throughout the meal. Rolls were all good. We especially liked the Phili roll. Miso soup was good as was the cucumber salad and Tofu dish.

When we were there, there appeared to be one chef and one server. The server was fairly
overwhelmed with the full restaurant. She seemed a bit frustrated by all of the customers.

Plus, the credit card machine was inoperative resulting in my cash shortage. Usually, restaurants
can manually accept credit card, but not here.

Excellent sushi, however.
