“always a dream”
Reviewed 23 August 2013

Back for the 3rd times at MLL and never disappointed ...
View is always terrific, staff smiling and helping...
We had an Aspen suite and it was perfect for us.
Anny can swimm soon in the morning and also some evening...
Comfortable bed, large bathroom and as the room are oriented to the lake, it's quite+++,
excellent diner...
We'll be back next year if avaibility(only problem is that the occupancy is often high in suer..).

We've been coming here for years, and it always delights us. Truly a hidden treasure. The staff is friendly and accommodating, rooms are charming with stunning views of Flathead Lake and Mission Mountains, infinity pool and hot tub are very clean, campfire built on request, landscaping fits perfectly into setting. Bigfork, a charming town, is five minutes away. Glacier Park is 40 minutes away. This place is heaven on earth to us. You simply can't go wrong by staying here!

Room Tip: The rooms on the second and third levels provide the best views.

We booked many rooms for a wedding and this was the perfect place for it. The views are great, the grounds beautiful and the rooms large. We had no problem hosting impromptu cocktail parties in any of the rooms and took over the deck for breakfast. The most striking thing about this resort is that the staff "gets" that they are in hospitality business. They smiled and greeting every person...every day. Some of the other establishements we frequented during our stay seemed annoyed at large parties. Not these people...they thanked us when we left. Perfect!

Room Tip: second floor rooms have the best view

I travel a lot.. I always try and be honest and say positive things about the places
that we stay... I know the hotel industry is challenging but sometimes it's a matter
of common sense... So I will start my saying the grounds are beautiful, pool, hot tub
and view to die for.... The rooms were disappointing... The mattress on our king bed
was like sleeping on a concrete slab... I hardly slept at all.. Woke up with horrible back ache
and was not happy... The rooms we paid around $250.00 per night... The linen's were old and
dingy... The walls were dirty and the bathroom bath tub as bad.... It reminded me of
the equivalent to Motel 6. It has really gone down hill since the last time we stayed
there a year ago....

Room Tip: If you stay on this facility, ask if you can get a updated room and you might want to see if they...

Our stay at BML was outstanding. The views of Flathead lake are fabulous, rooms are big and clean. The pool and hot tub are clean and convenient, open till 11pm. We ate breakfast in the lodge and it was very good. It is 5 miles from downtown Bigfork so you need to drive to get there but it only takes a few minutes. There are 4or 5 buildings with rooms, there are no elevators so if you have trouble with stairs request a room on ground floor. Of course the rooms on top do offer the best views of the lake. Each room has a fireplace and 2 tv's, the staff is friendly and very courteous.

Been here for 3 days and it is enjoyable - the accommodations are located in 5 separate buildings on the property overlooking the impeccably kept landscape and pool area - we have eaten at the Riley's pub in the lodge our first night and it was good - may try the Terra restaurant on site this evening - we are in one of the "07" units on the upper floor with 1 bedroom and the views of the lake and mountains are fantastic but I'm sure the lower units would not have as good a view thru the trees - highly recommend one of the 4 "07" units - all in all a well run place.

Stayed three nights in early May. Ponderosa room is actually spacious suite with balcony overlooking Flathead Lake's Woods Bay. Incredible view of mountains as well. Small diner across the street serves up homemade delicacies at very reasonable prices. No need to go further.
