I have family in the Bigfork area and booked a few nights here mainly for convenience. I absolutely loved it. I rented a cottage, which worked well for my 5 kids and me.

The cottage decor was very cute, the beds were amazingly comfortable and the location was super convenient. Liked that my cottage was located in the area tucked away from the main street for Bigfork as no parking issues at all. Super convenient.

Although there were bands playing outside at an establishment a few buildings away at night, I hardly noticed it. Cottage was clean and generally well stocked.

Minor items were that kleenex and coffee were not restocked fully each night, mugs were not cleaned, and no directions were available in the cottage to enable me to turn the pilot light off in the fireplace when we returned to the cottage after office hours our first night, so my sons were a little sweaty the first night. Placed a call for help that evening and the fireplace was turned off when we returned to the cottage after maid service the next day.

Overall very friendly service from when I called to book the cottage a few months ago through check-out. Will definitely book at the cottages when we visit family again. Love Bigfork in the summer. Excellent stay. Thanks much!

Room Tip: Get a cottage which are tucked back from main street in Bigfork

We had a wonderful stay! Unfortunately we only had one night, but we will be back. Very convenient to the Village of Bigfork and close to Flathead Lake. The staff was very friendly. THe cottages are beautiful and love the Keurig coffee makers, nice touch. We booked a Cottage Suite as it was what they had available, will try to a Riverside Cottage next time.

Room Tip: Book a riverside cottage for the view.

Big Fork Montana is a charming town that is the perfect spot to stay if heading off to Glacier National Park. The town itself is charming with cute shops, galleries and wonderful places to eat. Bridge Street Cottages was our home away from home for five nights. We had a River Cottage which has a porch that overlooks the rushing river that spills into Flat Head Lake. Each cottage is given a name and that theme is carried throughout the cottage. Ours was "Horse Shoe". We didn't cook but there is a fully equipped kitchen area along with a Weber grill on the porch. There is a Kreuig coffee machine that is stocked with a variety of different capsules. Also bottled water is available complimentary. The bed was firm and the bathroom was spacious and bright with double sinks. Everyone was so nice and couldn't do enough to make our stay special. On the last night we had to move to a "woods" cottage since a wedding was taking over the property. This cottage was significantly smaller and had no view. The location is perfect...steps away from town and from a fabulous walking trail that goes along the river for 2 miles. Book a river cottage and listen to the rushing water!

Room Tip: Book a River Cottage

We love the king and full cabins. They meet all our needs. Each time we come back spring or fall we are so pleased and enjoy the environment. All the great reviews on this property are true and great staff and Shelli is super great at correcting a problem. We booked months ahead and feel if we write "too great a review" our special place will not be as available when we want to come. We , too, like to use the barbeque and do our own cooking. We love going shopping and picking up fresh goodies to barbeque. However, note most visitors seem to go out to eat as big fork seems to have great restaurants It is certainly my place for a peace of heaven. The staff are fantastic and make everyone feel real welcomed.

Room Tip: all the cottages are great especially the river bend cottages. So quaint and love the sound of the...

This is a beautiful place. We stay a week at Flathead Lake Lodge in the summer and like to arrive the day before our week starts.
So one summer, we booked at Bridge Street Cottages. We had driven by it many times and from the outside, it is charming and fits perfectly in the upscale village of Bigfork.

The grounds are spotless, the cottages look brand new and are in excellent condition. The landscaping is a beautiful mix of floral and native trees and it is meticulously maintained.

The set up of the cottages is very unique, as it feels like it's own quaint little village.
Then you get inside your room and realize that they spared no expense. I'm not a decorator, but I call it mountain modern.
It's like stepping into a very expensive mountain cabin. Current décor with top of the line amenities.
What impressed me the most, are the beds. Real "Tempur Pedic" mattresses, not just a mattress cover and if you have never slept on one, your in for a treat.
Sometimes you don't sleep well the first night on vacation, but in these beds, you will get the rest you need.

That was the first time we slept on one and when we cam home, we purchased one.
They are that good. Think about what that says about this place, that they would go the extra step to insure a good night's sleep? The majority of the most expensive hotels don't do that!

The location is outstanding. A 2 minute walk to downtown Bigfork and a 1 minute walk in the opposite direction and you are standing on a historic steel bridge that spans the Swan River.

Some of the rooms actually sit facing the Swan River about 20 feet from the water. The cottage's have porch's and are the perfect place to relax around sunset with a glass of wine, or in the morning with a cup of coffee and listen to the sound of the Swan River. For everything that the Bridge Street Cottage's are you get an excellent value.

Bottom line, you get to stay in beautiful setting, in rooms that are expertly decorated and extremely relaxing, in a very safe area, within walking distance to anything you want to visit in Bigfork.
I recommend booking in advance if can, because this is a much sought after place to stay. The staff is very efficient and make you feel like a welcome guest. They will do all they can to get you the room that is best for your stay.
I'll be back this July and look forward to my perfect getaway!!!

Room Tip: They are all excellent. If you want to spend a little extra and have an amazing view off your porch...
