Cottage is more like a small cabin, well decorated and supplied. We had a stream side cottage with a back porch overlooking swan river. Nice to relax in the evening to the sound of the river going by.

The sound of the rushing river sets the atmosphere for these cottages. The grounds are beautiful, and cottages neat and clean. This is a very nice place to stay within easy walking distance to the Bigfork village.

Bridge Street Cottages is a gem of a place to stay while in Bigfork. The accommodations are so comfortable, quaint, and the management provides those little things that make for such a special stay, like real glasses instead of plastic, real coffee mugs instead of cardboard, a fireplace in the wooded cottages, and wonderful decor.

This is our second stay at the Bridge Street Cottages and look forward to our next! We stayed in the Bear Claw, one-room suite that offered a comfortable place for 5 Days. We stocked our fridge with cold beverages, cheeses, and fruit for cocktail hour on the front porch. Each morning and evening, we walked over to the river and watched people fish and the birds come and go. We daytripped to Glacier NP and also enjoyed hiking in the Flathead area. The Swan river nature trail is accessible from the other side of “downtown” Big Fork and offers a 5-mile RT easy walk. Since the cottages are within walking distance of Big Fork, you can walk for your meals if you wish.

The staff here and area residents are very friendly and helpful, while not imposing. This is the best place in the area to stay for a few days!

Wonderful place to stay with sound of the roaring river soothing in background. Comfy like a nicely appointed home -- nicely decorated, excellent condition, large bathroom. 1 block to downtown shops and restaurants.
