This place offers real smoked meat. Smokers right out back. The prices are awesome! Food is great! Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is very casual- fast food like. You wait in line to order and you receive your food at the counter. There seems to be only one menu to be shared with everyone. Limited seating.
Despite the things that may be perceived as shortcomings, I will eat there again and again.

Best BBQ brisket I've ever had! Really glad I checked this place out. The place is nothing fancy, but the service is friendly, the atmosphere is warm, and the food is great. Don't pass this place up just because it's in a gas station; you won't be disappointed.

Lots of good choices for BBQ. Ribs were very good as was the brisket. The sides were very good with their house pasta a unique dish. The coleslaw and baked beans were also very good. Owner is there and interested in what's going on.

Huge fan of Blues. Always fantastic BBQ. The brisket is some of the best brisket I have ever had. The Ranch Pasta salad is also fantastic.

Its not the coolest looking place in town, but the food makes up for it. Family owned and operated I believe. That or they have an extremely low turnover rate. Either way...awesome food and fair price and always hot and fresh.

I get 1/2 lb of the brisket and a half rack of ribs every visit. That and a side of the Ranch pasta salad. The best part about blues is that you most often have leftovers to take with you. And they taste just as good later tonight. Only down side to blues is the smell. If you go there for lunch and stay to eat, you are going to know it all day. The intense smell of the food will stay with you and everyone you interact with that day will know it. This is the price you pay for the best BBQ in town. If the smell bugs you that much, you can always order at the Drive-Thru.

Long story short...if you like BBQ...get to BLUES...

Closed Sundays!

I went here to order takeout. I ordered ribs and brisquet, and the service was prompt. The food was excellent. This is real BBQ, something that nobody else has in Billings. The only issue would be the atmosphere...this isn't a restaurant, its a gas station, and it isn't necessarily a destination restaurant. I will definitely go back, as the food was superb.
