Screwed over in a bad way for Sunday Brunch. This place is part bar, part casino, part filthy restaurant, not family friendly. It was crowded and we didn't feel the food was good at all, but it appeared to be homemade. The waitress seemed to be put out to help us and just pointed at the buffet. We asked how much and she said "10 bucks, kids are free." After waiting 12 minutes with hungry kids, we hit the buffet. The kids did not like any of the offerings on the buffet. Cold eggs, rubbery pancakes, greasy meat so they ate a few strips of bacon and a little fruit. After asking twice for coffee, we finally went to the cashier to pay (we never got the bill). We were astonished to be charged $11/ea for the kids and of course the adult meal was much higher than $10. I am guessing the hotel next door is what is keeping them open. We paid the fine and vowed to never return to the Emporium.
