“Beds to sink in”

Arrived late, called the hotel from airport and the bus came to pick us up. Went into the pool in the morning, (who says you are too old at 50 to go down a waterslide and play basketball at 6.00am in the morning! Beds are extremely comfortable, just like sleeping on a cloud ( I imagine!) Breakfast adequate, hotel cleanliness 100%, Staff 100%. Can recommend.

My 3 year old daughter LOVED the pool here - 1 1/2 feet deep at the shallowest, which was perfect for her. Breakfast was decent, nothing impressive but nice to have. Cookies in the evening was nice. Our suite was large, clean, and comfortable. The location was a little far from the shopping we wanted to do, but the pool was worth it.

I recently traveled to Billings for a funeral. My trip was done on short notice and during a time when Billings was hosting a fair. So ... hotels were either completely booked or very expensive. Bless their hearts, Kelly Inn & Suites had a room available at a reasonable price.

This hotel is very family friendly, meaning there were lots of families with young children staying there. A few grumpy folks complained to me about the noise and high energy level. It wasn't a problem for me (who doesn't like healthy, active kids?); nonetheless, this hotel probably shouldn't be the first choice of people looking for a romantic getaway during the summer months.

The front-desk staff were friendly and offered excellent service. My room was large, comfortable, clean and quiet. Ample parking, decent breakfast and easy access to I-90. I certainly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay there again.

Three words for this hotel: lovely, lovely, lovely. The welcome and breakfast areas in this five year old facility look like a lodge with lots of wood beams, a fireplace, over stuffed chairs and couches. The rooms are decorated and furnished with a Midwestern theme. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel is modern and clean. The pool is excellent for families- the temperature is perfect- not too hot, not too cold. The hot tub temperature is excellent and it is clean. There are many water features in the pool including two slides etc. These features are mostly for younger children. There is only one elevator in the hotel. The elevator was not working during the morning of our departure and we were on the third floor. Note to seniors: You will not want to be on an upper floor if the elevator fails. Breakfast was more than adequate. A great hotel especially for young families. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed here in July 2012. Room was sparkling clean but kind of expensive for what it contained. ( $170 per night, AARP rate) I guess we paid for the Jacuzzi which we did not use. The bed was wonderful and we would have slept well except we were directly above the huge air conditioning unit that served the whole hotel. It happened to be extremley hot outside so it ran all night. I'm sure they save this room (212) as a last rental when fully booked because of the location. We were grateful to get it because the Montana State Games were that weekend and every hotel was booked solid.

The room was very large with few furnishings. Would have been nice to have two lounge chairs instead of one as there were two of us. The coffee pot was one of those one cup at a time pots, which are ok but I prefer to make more than one cup at a time. There was a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, sink and cupboards for storing food and dishes, but no table or chairs. If you wanted to eat it was on your lap or at the computer table. The staff was very accomodating. Especially when I called the next day after I realized I left my glasses on the bedside table. They were mailed to me immediately which I greatly appreciated. Breakfast consisted of pre-made little cheese omlets and sausage, muffins, juice, fruit, cereal and the normal accompaniments. Tasty.... All in all it was very pleasant. We have stayed here a couple of times previously with great rooms not over the AC unit. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Avoid room 212 in the summer.

Whenever I come to Billings, this is the ONLY choice. I have spent many a night in a motel, from coast to coast, and this one is tough to beat. Great staff, handy location, shuttle service, snacks...did I mention that friendliness abounds? I give it 5 stars because that is the upper limit!
