Tapas are not the first thing that comes to mind when in Bozeman. We were visiting for a family event and feeling rather hungry getting off the flight. Enterprise Sales Manager referred us to Over the Tapas when we laid out what we were looking for food wise. He did not steer us wrong.

We were there for lunch and went the tapas route, naturally. Rustic Baguette with olive oil and a roasted garlic spread was a nice starter to keep us from gnawing each others' arms off. We then had bacon wrapped dates, again recommended, and would return for those alone. Grilled asparagus were perfect, followed by lamb sliders. Still a little hungry so we finished with some of the Spanish meatballs.

Would love to return to Bozeman and visit this restaurant for dinner.

We enjoyed a great light lunch. The menu is very gluten friendly. Try the BLT salad which includes grilled endives. The roasted tomato soup was excellent as well.

The staff is attentive and friendly

Thanks for a great lunch!!

We weren't expecting to find tapas in Bozeman but it was a very pleasant surprise. "Over the Tapas" was perfect for a lighter dinner on a trip that we knew would consist of lots of burger and steak only type places as we got a further into our Montana trip. We ate early at around 5:30pm (not having yet adjusted to the change in time zones) and it was great to discover that we were not the only ones in the restaurant. The menu isn't your traditional Spanish tapas, more of a modern twist, but everything we tried was very tasty and nicely presented. We had the lamb sliders (which had lovely/perfect seasoning) the patatas bravas (would've like a bit more spice on these for my taste) the butternut squash ravioli and the pork tacos which were great. The service was attentive and friendly without being overly chatty. My husband was offered a couple of tasters of the local beers before he made his choice, which was nice. The atmosphere had a friendly casual neighborhood feel. We were very happy we dined here and would definitely return if we are in Bozeman again!

This is a small place just off Main St. There are so many places to choose from. I was celebrating and milestone and wanted something super special. We had broiled bacon-wrapped pitted dates and rustic bread with olive lio and balsamic vinegar. Wow, yet expensive. Worth the splurge? Yes.
