Spent 2 nights here and intended on tenting, but after seeing where the tent sites were we opted for a cabin instead. The tent sites backed onto the road with no fence. Everybody walking along the road was pretty much on your site, and every car that passed by had a great view of all your stuff, and it was a long walk to the nearest bathroom. The kicker was they wanted about $30 for an unserviced site. The cabins were also the most expensive we have stayed in at a KOA so far.
The pool was closed for renovation, and they are obviously doing some major work to the grounds to add more sites, and apparently move the tent sites to a better location next year. The WiFi worked great, and the had a cooking Gazebo set up for tenters (although it was a long way from the tent sites), the bathrooms were clean and nice, the store well stocked, and it was located right behind the Bozeman Hot Springs Spa and Fitness Center. There was a discount offered for KOA customers since the pool was not working.
The staff were great, and very helpful, and our stay in the cabin was quite nice, but for the price I could have had a hotel room with better facilities.More
