“Under construction”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2014 via mobile

Severely over priced, for what they have to offer. Other campgrounds in area are equally or better in quality at 1/2 to 2/3rd the price. Under construction started early in the morning. Lots of noise. Bathrooms are clean pet run was way too small.
Rest rooms are not handicapped excess able.

We tent camped here and did not enjoy ourselves at all. The tent sites were located next to the road, which people drove down all night blaring music and yelling at us campers. The bathrooms were located at the opposite end of the campground, and the men's was not clean. My wife said the women's was nice. The pool is actually located in the Bozeman hot spring spa and fitness center and costs extra even though it is discounted. The tent sites need a privacy fence or hedge between them and the road.

Pros: decent wireless, nice staff, neat store.

Cons: location of tent sites, noisiness of the highway, price of a piece of lawn with no water or electricity was almost as much as an RV site with full hookups.

We will not be staying here again and are starting to regret our purchase of a KOA value card.

The location is ideal if you plan to visit the main areas of shopping and MSU. The pull throughs are wide enough for a very large fifth wheel like ours at 43 ft plus our ram dually. The staff are very nice except for all the construction going on. I was saden when we pulled up and looking around expecting the outside parameters to be filled with trees or a private fence to make it more private. The septic tank was not available for us to connect due to another part of their construction project. I've heard from other write ups a year ago about construction assuming it was done by now. Disappointing for us but it served our purpose to be close to MSU for a few days. Would I come back here? If it was an overnight thing yes. Anything more than one day no.

Room Tip: This place has been in construction for some time. Im sure it will be nice once it gets done. Mayb...

We have stayed at this park three times in the last three years - probably because it is one of the few that has full hook-ups for our Class-A coach. The people are very nice, but the park has been undergoing construction every time we have been there! It's not bothersome, but it would be nice if they finished.

Overall, the park is just average, but acceptable. It's kind of far from town (7 minutes or so), but there's not much else to choose from.

Spent 2 nights here and intended on tenting, but after seeing where the tent sites were we opted for a cabin instead. The tent sites backed onto the road with no fence. Everybody walking along the road was pretty much on your site, and every car that passed by had a great view of all your stuff, and it was a long walk to the nearest bathroom. The kicker was they wanted about $30 for an unserviced site. The cabins were also the most expensive we have stayed in at a KOA so far.

The pool was closed for renovation, and they are obviously doing some major work to the grounds to add more sites, and apparently move the tent sites to a better location next year. The WiFi worked great, and the had a cooking Gazebo set up for tenters (although it was a long way from the tent sites), the bathrooms were clean and nice, the store well stocked, and it was located right behind the Bozeman Hot Springs Spa and Fitness Center. There was a discount offered for KOA customers since the pool was not working.

The staff were great, and very helpful, and our stay in the cabin was quite nice, but for the price I could have had a hotel room with better facilities.

We chose this one over a couple other options as they had a pool. Oops, didn't ya know it was under renovations. What is it with closing things down during the high season? We had a no shade pull through on a dusty construction site. I know the season is short, but really... Sure, next year it won't be an issue, but this year was disappointing. W cut our stay here short.

Room Tip: It's quite a ways out of town. plan extra time for travel.

Spent two nights in this campground this week. It is expensive, small/cramped with few amenities and the washrooms are not very clean. Not much shade - more trees on the property would be nice. Wifi worked well when connected, but you needed to log in every few minutes which was a bit frustrating. The location of the campground was fine.
