Not a bad activity when you're looking for something to do. The enclosure is small but the staff is there to provide information and to answer tons of questions. Interesting to see the types of bear proof containers they can destroy.

This is a pretty simple experience, you pay your fee, and go view the bears in their enclosure. I think I was expecting something more grand in scale, however, the bears are amazing, the staff is very informative and clearly cares for them and what they do for the bears in terms of rescuing them from bad situations is worth the cost of your visit to support the cause. We got to see Brutus and the youngest bear who's name escapes me. A staff member gave a ton of information on the bears along with some helpful bear/human interaction advice. Definitely would be useful for anyone planning to be in the Wilderness in Montana. It's right off I-90 and you could be in and out in an hour or less, so if your passing through, it could be a nice break. Definitely worth seeing

We enjoyed seeing the bears. We got to see 2 of them while visiting. Food had been placed throughout the enclosure. It was fun to watch the bears search and find their treats. The bears seemed to be taken care and happy. The gentleman giving the presentation was funny and gave great information about bears in general, and what to do if you encounter one in the wild. Admission was reasonable (I think $7 for adults and $5 for kids). We spent about an hour watching the bears and in the little gift shop.

There are five bears currently living at the sanctuary. Four have been rescued from horrible living conditions. All are well cared for. The information provided about bears in the wild and what to do if you encounter one was interesting and informative. All the bears do not get along so there are only two out at a time. The best time to go is around 11:45. Jake and Maggi are out but will be heading back in. The caregivers come out and hide snacks for Brutus and Bella. They come out a few minutes after twelve. They are very active looking for the treats and you get a true appreciation of their size!

When we got there, there were two bears out. The one never came down from behind the rocks. We read the signs which were somewhat interesting, but we got there after the intern had just finished talking and she never came over to us or acknowledged us, and during the 15-20 minutes we were there she never said anything. We saw a grizzly and two cubs at Yellowstone. A much more impressive view than here. Save your money or spend it at a local zoo.
