“something for everyone”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

Not my choice, but picked by one of our party. Wife had special sandwich of roast beef with 3 cheese macaroni and jalapinos on a toasted hard roll. She said it was great. Guest had an arugula salad (she is from Alaska where arugula is hard to find) and a thai dish. She was delighted. I had a thai chicken soup with baked chicken and rice covered with a sauce with hunks of potatoes, yams, carrots and peas in it. The chicken was dry and the rice looked and tasted like instant rice. I ate very little of it. I also had an end piece of French baguette that was terrific. It was the highlight for me. Plated dishes are priced by the ounce and are served cafeteria style. You can select only that which you desire and pay by the ounce. This is good for small appetites but can be expensive for someone who goes to "all you can eat' buffets. Our bill with just water to drink was $34 for three with lemon bars for desert. The 2 people I was with would go back in a heartbeat and I would return if need be but I didn't like school cafeteria and I usually avoid buffets but I could always find something that looks good here. Just not my first choice.

“Perfect While Traveling!”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Back up in Bozeman to teach workshops, and staying in a great guest house on the north slope of the valley... stopped in at the main Co-Op to grab something for supper, and stock up with goodies for the weekend. Loads of choices for the omnivores and veggies in the hot foods line (cannelini beans with sage... YUM!), plus salads and sandwich options. I love the egg salad on the ciabatta, but it's easier to eat on the sliced bread.

Best part: hitting the bulk bins for weekend-friendly quantities of whole oat groats, brown sugar, popcorn, and even a few cents of oil to pop it! We spent under $6 for breakfasts and snacks from the bulk aisle, and didn't have to haul home huge quantities.

The Co-Op is our official Favorite Spot for being able to buy vacation quantities of great foods.

“So great, can't wait to go back”

You forget how great food can be sometimes. Simple food done well is always, in my opinion, better then food that has been doctored and twisted into itself. Natural and organic is always a bonus. And great service and friendly people make this place my favorite in Bozeman.

“Good food, great price!”
Reviewed 26 January 2014

A local I met on the plane recommended the Co-op. It was wonderful. Great selection of healthy foods. The vegan selections are nice. A good variety. But if you're not a vegetarian or vegan, there are still great selections. The ambience is wonderful. Students and locals reading and surfing. The staff very friendly! loved it.
