“Our Favorite Stop!”

When you go through Bozeman you better stay here. The place is beautiful in so many ways. The B&B is spotless and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and the beds more than comfortable.
The breakfast are unique and delicious, and not too large or heavy... just right. And right outside your window is the wolf sanctuary. Comanche, the alpha male looks ferocious until he sidles up next the fence so you can scratch him behind his ear. And how many places can you stay where you can wake in the night to wolves howling (just a little, not at all annoying). But what makes this place even more special is Mary-Martha. What a hostess!! One of the friendliest people you will ever want to meet, and a great cook to boot. It is easy to see why the wolves love her. This was our favorite place to stay during our two-week vacation out west.

My two 14 year old daughters and I stayed at Howlers in Mid June 2013. We were met warmly by Mary Martha and Chris. Their home is welcoming and to us, from the east coast, a surprise in "the country"! My kids and I were enamored with their decor. Breakfast was great. Mary Martha assisyed us in obtaining a horseback ride and white water experience on the Gallatin River, both of which were excellent experiences. Now, to the wolves. These are magnificent creatures who are well cared for with love. I learned a lot about them and we are better humans for this experience. Thankyou. We hope to be out your way again.

My week stay at the Howler was most memorable and relaxing.
One night I heard on a concert between coyotes across the street and the wolves at the sanctuary.
Chris and Mary Martha are warm wonderful people. They accommodated me for breakfast so I could meet my fishing guide. It is a quick 15 minutes to town. Loved the vistas from the bedroom windows. Wifi in the rooms were very much appreciated. Cattle farm nearby was Los nice to view.
Hope to vacatin there next July again.

Room Tip: Nice room over looking the wolf pen

We recently spent two nights at Howler’s Inn and loved it. The Inn itself is secluded and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Upon our arrival we received a warm welcome from Chris and Mary-Martha, along with a comprehensive tour of the B&B. We loved the peace and quiet of the place, and particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck at the end of the day, relaxing and unwinding from a long day’s journey.

The breakfasts were delicious, and we enjoyed lingering at the table afterwards and speaking with the other guests, some of whom had come all the way from Denmark.

Chris and Mary-Martha really have thought of everything. Should you be in need of an exercise machine, a game to play, or a movie to watch… they have it all covered. Or if like us you’re happy to get away from it all, you will love the tranquility and the natural beauty of the place… you can’t go wrong here! We felt very welcome and at ease with their family in their home. They really are a charming couple and we loved talking with them. All our needs were met, and we were made to feel right at home.

Chris and Mary-Martha have created something really special with Howler’s Inn. Their commitment to the wolves is incredible and we felt privileged to have enjoyed this unique experience. Hearing the wolves howl at night was magical and watching Chris feed and interact with the wolves showed the dedication, and love that has developed raising these animals. All in all it was an amazing experience!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Southwest Room, which has an excellent view of the wolves!

We couldn't have asked for a better stay at Howlers. Everything was just so wonderful including the accommodations, the setting, the wolves, the food and the gracious owners, Mary-Martha and Chris. We hope to back as soon as possible!

We spent almost two weeks visiting Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana, and our favorite time overall was the 4 days we spent near Bozeman at the Howlers Inn. My children (ages 8 and 11) loved learning about, seeing, and especially listening to the wolves. They also loved the air hockey, pool table, and arcade game in the rec room! Breakfast was delicious, and Mary-Martha went out of her way to accommodate my picky son and my dietary restrictions. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms were quite clean, and I loved the cozy thick carpeting in our bedroom. Our room comfortably held all 4 of us and the beds had the softest most comfortable sheets I've slept in. We all slept the best nights of our trip while at Howlers. No, there was not satellite TV in our room, but there was wireless internet throughout the home. If we had wanted television we could use the family room or the large screen in the rec room, but frankly we were too busy hiking, walking through town, visiting museums, swimming in the hot springs, eating gourmet caramels, watching the wolves, or sitting out on the back deck with a glass of wine looking at the mountains. Chris and Mary-Martha were fantastic in providing us with entertainment suggestions tailor-made for our interests. The location has breathtaking views with many family-friendly activities nearby. We enjoyed it so much!

We cannot say enough good things about the Howlers Inn! If you are planning a stay anywhere near Bozeman or Livingston MT, do yourself a favor and stay at the Howlers! The location is perfect as is the hospitality and the wolves are just fascinating. The Howlers Inn is a very special place and Mary Martha and Chris are very special people. We loved our three day stay!
