“Will be going back.....”

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymon, Aug 2013. It was amazing !!! Mary-Martha and Chris were very helpful, telling us great places for dinner and the best way to go to Yellowstone. The wolves were incredible and you need to be there at feeding time, how exciting. We are already planning on going back next year, and this is the only place we will stay. Not to mention, the breakfast was delicious everyday !!!

A friend and I stayed in June with out 6-year-old children. The kids had such a wonderful time interacting with the wolves. They ran along the fence line, and the wolves chased after them. They even howled together. The carriage house was a perfect space with a private kitchen and bathroom. Mary-Martha and Chris are excellent hosts. They answered lots of questions, were readily available, and even prepared early breakfasts served on our accommodation for early rising hungry kiddos. We would love to stay here again on future trips to Bozeman/Yellowstone.

Room Tip: Carriage house

Thank you for another wonderful stay. One of our trips to Montana would not be complete without a stop at Howlers. Mary-Martha and Chris are very welcoming and fantastic hosts. The rooms are very luxurious and spacious.

This is a beautiful, peaceful part of Montana just outside Bozeman with wonderful views. Kids loved the wolves and the play area. Breakfasts as always was a highlight!

Wish we could have stayed longer but will certainly be back!

My wife and I just returned from a two-night stay at Howlers Inn and we recommend it highly. Chris and Mary Martha are warm, generous hosts and we felt at home in their B&B. We stayed in the Western Room which has excellent views of the wolf enclosures. Breakfasts were large and scrumptious and Mary Martha took great care to tend to dietary restrictions (turkey sausage!!). The house is beautifully situated between Bozeman and Livingston and is a perfect base for exploring both locations. Chris and Mary Martha are quick with recommendations and advice for details in the area. Clearly the highlight is the wolves. We hung around one night when Chris went down to feed the pack and were able to give Comanche some pets. Just amazing. We can't recommend this place enough. Check them out!

P.S. I bought Mary Martha's cookbook and can't wait to make the German Apple pancakes...for DINNER tonight!

Room Tip: Can't really go wrong....we stayed in the Western Room and peeked into the other rooms. All are...

Our family of four just returned from a Yellowstone National Park vacation via Howlers Inn outside of Bozeman. Set in a picturesque valley with views of the surrounding Rockies, Howlers Inn quickly became a home away from home. Chris and Mary Martha are incredibly welcoming and warm and their Inn offers a truly unique experience that is both unassuming and completely relaxing. Our 12 year old twins were captivating by the wolves living in the enclosed sanctuary -- we couldn't wait to join Chris for the evening wolf feeding! Unforgettable! As for the accommodations, we stayed in the semi-detached carriage house, which felt like our own personal cabin in the mountains -- equipped with two bedrooms (queen beds) and an awesome kitchen and living room area. When we weren't visiting the wolves or spending time in Bozeman, we had a blast in the family rec room playing pool or air hockey. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer.

This is one of those little hidden gems that you'll treasure! Favorite place of all time! Breakfasts were exquisite and unique; inn keepers make you feel like family! They could not have been more accommodating. Décor was fabulous--unique to the area, but not overdone. The setting was so serene, yet reasonably close to Bozeman and north Yellowstone. The trip of a lifetime! Clearly when you have repeat business from Europeans, you have to be a standout. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the wolf enclosure--as long as you don't mind a 3 am serenade!

When you go through Bozeman you better stay here. The place is beautiful in so many ways. The B&B is spotless and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and the beds more than comfortable.
The breakfast are unique and delicious, and not too large or heavy... just right. And right outside your window is the wolf sanctuary. Comanche, the alpha male looks ferocious until he sidles up next the fence so you can scratch him behind his ear. And how many places can you stay where you can wake in the night to wolves howling (just a little, not at all annoying). But what makes this place even more special is Mary-Martha. What a hostess!! One of the friendliest people you will ever want to meet, and a great cook to boot. It is easy to see why the wolves love her. This was our favorite place to stay during our two-week vacation out west.
