We loved our stay at Howler's Inn. It is a beautiful setting with spectacular scenery. The wolves were entertaining, but the hosts really make the place. They were so friendly and accommodating. They love what they do and that enthusiasm shines through. They helped us find some great hiking places. The room was very clean and comfortable. We would love to visit again!

We stayed in the Western Room and my mother and children stayed in the Carriage house above the garage. Our room was beautiful, especially when I looked out the window at 5:45 am to see what all the howling was about and was looking directly down on three wolves with the lovely Montana hills spreading out in all directions. This really is a special piece of the world. The carriage house did not have direct views of the wolves and my kids really didn't hear them howling, which was fine becuase they didn't wake up at 6:00 am every morning. It was nice to have the carriage house as a gathering point for the family - our own space, little kitchen for preparing sandwiches, etc. The basement of the main house has a big rec. room which the kids (7,11,13) enjoyed. They were feeling rather tv deprived as we had been traveling and camping and staying in cabins, so they were thilled with cable, game system, and a highlight of our whole western trip - a classic Simpsons video arcade game (quarters provided in a bucket next to the game). There are some nice walking trails right near the b&b. The breakfast was great!

we have stayed at many Bed and Breakfasts around the Country, none can compare to Howlers Inn. The hospitality, location, ameneities, food, room, everything is top notch, and then the wolves are the icing on the cake. We have a choice to go anywhere we want each year, and Howlers is one of the main reasons we keep coming back to Montana.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Howlers. Great food, great people, and so special to see and learn about the wolves. The house is beautiful and homey, with lovely hills all around. It's a little out of the way, but well worth the drive, if you are looking for a relaxing spot and an opportunity to see and learn about wolves.

The hosts make you feel like part of the family; it's a warm and inviting atmosphere. We had the room overlooking the wolf enclosure and enjoyed watching from the room as well as from other parts of the property. The breakfasts are outstanding and Mary Martha has published an excellent small book with the recipes. Both Bozeman(Over the Tapas) and Livingston (2nd Street Bistro) have some excellent restaurants with an emphasis on supporting local providers. The Paradise Valley Grill between miles 38 and 39 on the Hwy between Livingston and Gardner was especially memorable.

My fiance and I stayed at the Inn for 3 nights while looking for property in the area. Mary -Martha and Chris were penultimate hosts and offered not only excellent food and service but also gave us extensive first hand knowledge of the area. The inn offered lovely private rooms with the option of joining the family and other guests for wine in the evening to relax and share after the days long adventures. The ability to see and learn about their wolves was a bonus and being able to listen to their howls and get up close and personal with the youngsters should not be missed. Hoping we'll be neighbors soon! Thanks for the wonderful stay, Colleen and Jeff

Howler's Inn provided our family with the perfect location outside of Bozeman, near Yellowstone and Chico Hotsprings which included all of our destinations. The wolves were just the bait bringing us in... we stayed in the Carriage House and enjoyed awesome hospitality and felt very welcome. The amenities for our children, such as the air hockey table, wii games, DVDs and player in the room, and play area outside, were unexpectedly appreciated as a convenience of home, and the yummy homecooked breakfast brought to our table in the House was the same! My son was even able to play with the hosting family, which was very welcoming, and the family cat even brought us a nice gift to our front door! It felt like home, like staying with family, and we highly recommend it to any family or couple!! Thanks to the Bahn family!!!
