WOW, we walked in and to our surprise the decor and woodwork blew us away. Not to mention the waiting list for people w/o reservations.
We were lucky and took a chance of finding seats at the bar, it worked. Great seats and a great view for people watching.
We decided to try some appitizers rather than a full meal. We ordered, St Louis style Honey ribs, Lamb sliders, Chorizo burger and to drink, Vorte Sante Pinot Noir & Stella beer.
The ribs were fabulous, The lamb sliders were ok, to us needed more lamb then whatever other meat they mix in. The chorizo burger was good again more chorizo needed then other meat mixed in. We are used to full flavors. I did not care for the "brioche" that the lamb sliders came on, They were dry and added nothing in my opinion. The atmosphere was buzing, lots of activity. From what we could see the full meals looked delicious. The customers seemed happy and comfortable. Do make reservations, it's the way to go.

Try the French fries for sure. Great happy hour drink and appetizer specials. Menu isn't large, and doesn't have many vegetarian choices. The filet is great, one if the best steaks I've ever had. Overall, looking forward to a return visit.

We recently tried this new high end restaurant in Bozeman and are happy to report it is a great addition. The food was excellent with some French influence. The restaurant is in a new building with good parking. Reservations are available on Open Table, which is a plus, one of only three in Bozeman.

Just a block or two from a little more crowded area of downtown. Nice place, nice atmosphere. Service was fine. Food was very good, portions were large, prices reasonable. Very solid choice in downtown Bozeman.

This was my 2nd trip to 14 North and while the first was very good, I can honestly say, they are even better. (They just opened this summer.) Our waitress was very nice, very knowledgeable and kept our table of 6 happy. The Pear Martinis were yum. For our appetizer, The Drunken Pig was calling - how do you go wrong with tempura battered bacon? I had the Pork Loin with Peach Salsa and it was wonderful with a heat in the salsa I wasn't expecting but was delicious surprise! They don't have a set dessert menu yet - it seems like they are trying many out and seeing which ones to keep on the menu but the two we tasted featured huckleberries - a Montana tradition. The only downside of the evening was one of their specials. It was a homemade pasta that had rib eye steak in it and you could not order the steak to your preferred temperature. It was apparently cooked/warmed in the sauce and the 4 folks that had it were not happy with the steak being well done. The lighting is brighter in the larger area adjacent to the bar so if you are looking for a little quieter, more romantic area, sit to the left as you walk in.
