“Great Stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 October 2013

We stayed at the Mountainview for 2 nights and couldn't have had a nicer stay. The room was large and the bed huge. Very clean and the staff very friendly. The make your own waffles at breakfast were great fun. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit st the Mountainview and Bozeman.

My wife and I stayed at the Mt view lodge recently and absolutely loved it. The owners will go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. Our room had a jacuzzi tub which relaxed our sore muscles from the previous hike that day.We will definitely return to this hotel next year. Bob W

Our family traveled from Midwest to national parks for a family vacation. We arrived at 1:00 a.m. due to longer than anticipated distance from Glacier National Park to Bozeman. We had a mix up in out room reservation, night staff and owners took good care of us as we made what was available work! We greatly appreciated their hospitality and definitely recommend this hotel as they deserve the business!!! It appeared to be a former AmericInn that had been converted to a private hotel. I would recommend this place for a basic night with a breakfast.

Room Tip: Pool area needs a little work as sauna does not work.

On our way to Yellowstone and on to Parker Colorado, we stopped here for one night. We have stayed many times in Bozeman and have never found anyplace comfortable, clean and reasonable priced. I was so excited when I found this wonderful place.
My Brother is handicapped and the room they gave us was perfect. It had a small dining room table, huge bathroom and it was laid out perfect for him in dealing with his handicap. The pool was a perfect temperature and I had it to myself for about 2 hours. I enjoyed the hot tub before heading to my room.
The front desk girl when we arrived was a sweetheart and she was excited when she saw she had this room available for us. We thought we had missed breakfast but we then realized they kept it open late until everyone had left. The breakfast was still hot and delicious. I can't wait to stay here again our next trip to Bozeman.

Room Tip: Our room was perfect, on ground floor and handicapped.

This hotel looks nice in the photos, but they are misleading. It is right off the highway, which is convenient
If you are traveling through, but nowhere neat the great downtown area,
or even close to anything worth walking to. Beds hard and
uncomfortable. The night we arrived we were told we had been upgraded!
To a room with a fireplace.......in July. The fireplace turned "off" emitted
so much heat we had to run the air on high continuously which was
loud and annoying. Next morning, we found it difficult to verify which

allergy that inconvenienced your standing around doing nothing.
Hit the cold pool, and warmed up in the lukewarm hot tub. Were
so disappointed by the pool, we decided to fill the whirlpool tub in
the room so he could play without shivering. We were not surprised
to find the whirlpool did not work. This hotel is shoddy, and shady, stay
away there are many cheaper options that are probably better.

My girlfriend and I (and our doggy) came to Bozeman to find a place to live but were unsuccessful for two weeks during which we split our time between tent camping and staying at the Mountainview Lodge & Suites. Whenever we needed a break from the wet and windy camping conditions, we chose the Mountianview for our home and refuge away from the elements. The Lodge is very cozy, the rooms and bedding are quite comfortable and the staff was kind and accommodating despite our requests for early check-ins and late check-outs. The proprietors actually gave us great advice regarding where to find an apartment. Their pet policy is very reasonable and there are several quiet blocks of nice grassy space around the lodge that are perfect for dog walks. When our family visits the area we will recommend to them the Mountainview. Although the lodge is very convenient to I-90 one doesn't hear the interstate traffic, and driving into downtown Bozeman is quick and easy. Also, it should be said, the mountains are indeed in view from this establishment. A great and friendly place.

Room Tip: First-floor rooms on the north side have a pleasant, quiet green area just outside the windows. Seco...

Room was very large, very clean and everything worked well. We asked for room not facing interstate and so it was pretty quiet at night and we had nice view of the mountains.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Even included fresh fruit salad. Coffee a little weak but fine with me.
All in all the cleanest hotel we found during our vacation and an excellent value for the price paid. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing the interstate. It will be more quiet at night.
