“Best Fries Ever and Great Beer!!!”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

What a great place! Completely packed, neat system where they call your cell when you table is available (ended up eating at the bar). Over twenty awesome local craft brews on draft. Pepper parmesan fries are the BEST fries I have ever eaten! Bison potstickers and mac and cheese (w/ bacon) also deserve mention. Service was great and dinner was delicious also. Great food/beverage with a local spin - AWESOME!

“Perfect for dinner after skiing”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

You have got to try the gumbo! It's a special and not always available, but do try if it's on the menu. If not, any of the burgers will give you a run for your money. This is an excellent bar, great beers, but the food is the big thing for me here. It's simple and simply good, quite a big and somewhat fancy menu, but all food I tried is solid and yummy. I prefer to sit at the bar - there tends to be no free table elsewhere, and it's fun to watch the clearly competent bartenders. Some even know quite a bit about good wine. I love this bar, especially for a big dinner after a hard day's skiing.

Enjoyed the Ale Works. In fact while we were in Bozeman in February we ended up going there several times! Good food and great staff!

“Fun Place”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

Went out for dessert and coffee at the Montana Ale Works. Had the Chocolate Pots de creme. I am a chocoholic and could have eaten 2 - warning - it is rich. Husband had apple pie bread pudding - but he wasn't as impressed as I was. Can get loud and busy very quickly.

“Tonight was one of those nights where everything was right.”
Reviewed 3 May 2014

Once in a while I stumble into a restaurant that seems to get it all right! My 1/2 pound Wagyu burger was spot on and the service matched. Being by myself and this place being very busy I pulled up the seat at the bar and in did up being witness to a very well oiled machine. Whoever manages this place does an excellent job. It's a shame that restaurants with this quality of food and staff are so far and few between. I will definitely be back.

One thing to keep in mind this place is for dinner only as it does not open till 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
