Stayed her for a night with my son. Great location. Very nice facilities. Great staff all around. Went fish fishing with guide Ryan on the Madison -- first time for fly fishing. Great guide and teacher. Highly recommend the Lodge!

We were doing a long road trip through Yellowstone and made some last minutes changes and decided to go to Bozeman. Found this amazing place on TA and they had dog friendly rooms. Great hotel - great food. Staff very accomodating and room was well appointed. It is located about 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman but you can't find a better restaurant with wide open windows looking out onto the view.

We needed a short vacation. We wanted to ski and not deal with lots of people. We also wanted great food. We had it all here. Ski all day, have a great meal ready upon our return and relax in our in-room jacuzzi by the fire. We can't wait to return. Spoiled is an under statement.

Room Tip: Pick the lodge rooms.

My husband and I have eaten at the restaurant at the lodge once before for a business dinner, but this was our first time staying in the hotel. We both have spring fever, so we decided to take advantage of their Winter Romance Package. From the time we entered the lodge, the service was spectacular! We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and every employee of the hotel/restaurant that we interacted with was exceptional.

The room was well appointed, and the jacuzzi and fireplace were wonderful. Our neighbors were a little noisy upstairs in the morning, but other than that it was very quiet. We also enjoyed hanging out by the fireplace in the lobby after dinner.

Our dinner was excellent. We especially loved the scallops appetizer.

Keep up the good work. We will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of spending one lovely night at this Inn on Feb. 15, 2014. From the warm welcome/complimentary pick up at Bozeman's airport, to the friendly/delightful staff, comfortable/cozy/spacious rooms with fireplace/jacuzzi tub & all the necessities ... to the delicious dining ... it will be a place I will treasure in my memory and HIGHLY recommend to you!

What an awesome place. The Gallatin River Lodge is a beautiful spot, just outside of town. The lodge itself is clean, well-appointed and full of charm. We had a fireplace in our room and a full-wall row of windows that looked out over fields full of snow and grazing deer and even the occasional coyote. And the beds were insanely comfy! But what really makes this place great is the staff - they really went above and beyond. We were visiting Bozeman to ski Big Sky (It's a super convenient location for the mountain!) We ended up arriving a day earlier than planned and Stephanie went out of her way to make that possible for us. Jenna and Keith both cooked us amazing breakfasts and were very flexible with our timing so we could leave early to head up to the mountain. Keith even cleared a path to our car for us after a few inches of snow fell overnight and sent me out the door with a full mug of hot cocoa! We did eat in for dinner one night - thanks to John and Alex for an amazing meal! We had lamb chops and turkey pot pie - both were delicious. It really hit the spot after a long, cold day on the slopes. The whole staff was just overwhelmingly friendly, full of smiles and were incredibly accommodating. They run a beautiful lodge and we cannot wait to come back again in the future. Hands down one of my favorite lodges I've ever stayed in. It's worth every penny.

I sleep in hotels almost 200 nights a year, and have been this comfortable only once before. The staff is friendly, intelligent and well-supported; the rooms are welcoming & luxurious; the lodge finely situated on the river's edge; the food rich and refined. I SLEPT SO WELL. Our little business group had some special privacy needs, which were swiftly and competently accommodated, and all the little requests (a ride to the airport, a fishing guide, a massage) were handled with equal ease and grace, and excellent results. These folks are true professionals.

Room Tip: All the rooms are slightly different, so take the time to chat with the staff about the best fit for...
