We arrived without a reservation after seeing an ad for this place at our hotel. We were greeted graciously and the hostess found us a spot in one of the old stlye banquettes where you can see and be seen. We faced out toward the amazing chandelier in the middle of the dining area that is was made up of many tiffany style lamps. We loved it. And then the food came---we were totally unprepared for the way the appetizers and salad are served. The salad was crisp and the appetizer choices surprising. Our entrees were cooked perfectly. My husband had the vegetarian pasta and pronounced it the "best I've ever had". How could it not be, it was drenched in butter! He chose the spumoni and I had a lovely huckleberry ice cream for dessert.
In reading other reviews, I see the locals might consider this an expensive meal. Not so to anyone from the Seattle area. Our total bill came to less than one person's at a nice restaurant here.
Our waiter took time to explain things even though it was a very busy night and he was taking care of several large tables. It was obviously a well loved spot by the locals. The parking lot was full.
If you can't get a table the bar menu looked most enticing.
