After a long, rainy trip up from Yellowstone, arriving at Toad Manor was exactly what I needed. I enjoyed it so much that I stayed two extra days! Jane and Glen were wonderful hosts and truly enjoy getting to know their guests. From the lovely scones that arrive at your door each morning to the wonderful breakfasts and limo service (in a classic T-Bird and classic Jag, not less!), I was truly pampered.

For anyone looking to really enjoy what the B&B experience is all about, Toad Manor is the place! You will be so glad you visited. Thanks, Jane and Glen for a wonderful stay.

I've been there several times across at least 8 years. This is a traditional style B&B, with a "Wind in the Willows" theme in the rooms. My favorite room is the one at the top of the house, reached via an elevator, and attractively outfitted with amenities including a large jacuzzi.

Glenn, one of the owners and a Butte native, can share information about the town and restaurants, and you can relax overlooking the golf course and share drinks. Each morning hot fresh scones come to the room, and breakfasts are over the top - filling and creative.

The town itself has a lot of things to see, and Montana is beautiful.

Beautiful B&B with most gracious hosts! We made a stop in Butte on a trip from Salt Lake City to Seattle. It is an easy drive up I-15 with a side trip starting @ Dillon via Twin Bridges on to Butte. Pictures are an accurate depiction of Toad Hall Manor. Food was delicious and plentiful (one previous review said it was too much to which I say "You don't have to eat all of it!" We enjoyed breakfast and just pushed off lunch to an early dinner. Conversation was interesting and relaxed. We plan to visit again with the intention of staying several nights to explore the area. I will add also I am recovering from a foot surgery and was able to get to all areas using my knee scooter!

Room Tip: We stayed in Papa Otter's Place which is the smallest of the rooms which for overnight was fine...

This is a very nice B&B. Such a cute theme of the children's book Wind in the Willows. The hosts are gracious and the home is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. This is a great place to stay in Butte.

We had an extraordinary weekend, on Valentines' Day weekend. Toad Hall Manor was where we lodged and dined and was also the venue for a family wedding. Our hosts were warm and hospitable, attentive to detail and accommodating. The breakfasts were a treat to our eyes as well as our bodies, especially their oatmeal pancakes! The rooms were havens of indulgent, private pampered pleasure. Every amenity was high quality and thoughtfully prepared.

From the moment I arrived Glenn & Jane treated me like family. They fed me repeatedly and made sure I wanted for nothing.

I was given Mr Mole's Hide-a-way, a lovely room with a luxurious bathroom.

The bed and shower were excellent. The pillows and towels were fine. There's a communal TV, fridge and sink in the downstairs lounge.

A lovely writing desk served as a work station and there was a coffee maker in the room. There's no iPod dock, but you can control the music piped into the rooms.

It was a fabulous stay with wonderful hosts.

You have to stay here when in Butte.

The perfect retreat for our weekend getaway. We only stay at B&B's when we travel, and this is one that should not be missed.

Glen and Jane were everything and more that we expected and hoped for. Very welcoming hosts and now friends that we look forward to staying with again . We were visiting our son in college, and couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and special retreat than what Toad Hall had to offer. Wonderful accommodations, scrumptious food and all the comforts of home, that were experienced from the moment we walked through the door.

This is one B&B that should definitely be on your "bucket list" of places to visit. Not at all hard to find / locate as other reviewers have noted and the city of Butte is a one-of-a-kind, rich in history and beauty if you take the time to visit and explore.
