First of all, this rating is based on the booking issues we encountered, we have NOT stayed at the resort, not yet anyway. We booked through the resorts' website using the 877 number provided. This is a booking agency, not the resort, but that is not unusual. According to the website, there was a 1BR condo available for our July dates. 1st issue was, the price they quoted was higher than the website stated, but we got that ironed out. Next, I was told they would charge the entire amount to my credit card to book, while their website stated that two nights rental was required to book. Not a huge deal, but not what they were selling on their website. After completing the booking process, we received our confirmation email, which is where the real issues began. The email went on to describe additional charges at check-in.. like resort fees? Then a paragraph that stated that they would make 'every effort' not to move us during our stay. Move us ?! After two phone calls back to the booking agency, and a phone call directly to the resort, I was told that there was no guarantee that we would stay in one condo for our entire stay, because we may be subject to timeshare owners blocking out time. While I WAS aware that the resort had timeshares, I thought that 1 week available for a 1 BR condo, meant just that. I asked them where I could find that information on their website, anywhere.. and their answer was, that it wasn't on there. End result was, we cancelled the booking.

If you want all the money up front, put that information on your website. If there's a chance that you will be moved during your rental, be honest and disclose that on your website when someone is getting ready to book it At least a person can make a conscious decision about the agreement they are getting into BEFORE paying for it, instead of after. The person that I spoke with at the resort said that although they couldn't disagree with the points I brought up, it was just the reality of how they book rentals.

In the end, we found a private owner that rents their own units, outside of the resort booking process. Book a condo, stay at thay condo, that's all we wanted in the first place, but the resort booking could not promise us that, so.. be aware !

Missed our connecting flight and Connie at the front desk went over and above to make sure we could pick up our rental car at the airport and get checked in to the resort around midnight. First visit to Montana and loved every minute of it. Stayed in 222, a two bedroom condo. There were two sets of steps getting to the unit and another set of steps inside since master bedroom was on second floor. AC only in Master Bedroom which we did use. Make sure you go to the meeting on Monday morning where they go over things to do - we booked fishing and horseback riding as well as day trips from this.

We came for a week through a deal with RCI. Checked in on Sunday and had a one bedroom condo on the upper level of building 12. I could live here if it had more closets. High ceilings make it feel spacious, and there's a small deck with table, chairs and an electric grill. Large carpeted living area has a comfy couch, loveseat and a chair, gas fireplace, and a dining table that seats six. A large window overlooks the golf course. Our room had a comfortable king bed, but not high-end bedding. Condos have stacked washer/dryer, a range with oven, microwave and dishwasher. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cutlery for 8 and pretty much everything you need to prepare meals. They provide detergent for the dishwasher and washing machine, but no lotion or shampoo, so bring your own. Good wifi connection.

There's a shuttle from the airport and you can rent your car through the resort and have them deliver it to you. Small airport, so we found it easy to rent out car there and drive the short distance to the resort. The decent-sized Save1 grocery store is maybe a mile away and there's a Costco in Kalispell. They have a restaurant, snack bar and spa on site.

We don't ski or play golf, but easily found things to keep up busy for the week. Lots of little towns and, of course, Glacier National Park.

We stayed in building 10 lower floor. The studio unit was in great shape . We loved using the adult hot tub building with the sauna and steam room. The evenings were good to sit by the fire pits . Night time was very quiet, a big plus being a lite sleeper. The grounds looked like they were in great shape. When we checked out the stated that they are now charging $9.00 a day "resorts fees" , not a big deal . We will return for sure next year

We stayed here on a promotional rate purchased at a local ski show. We were very pleased with our stay. Our room was in the main lodge, so it was nothing spectacular, but it was clean, comfortable, and served the purpose for a family ski trip. The main bed was nice and our boys thought the hide a bed was a good quality. The room had the amenities we appreciate when travelling - a microwave, a fridge, good quality television. We enjoyed the games room in the main lodge - the shuffleboard and pool table was a nice touch. The pool area is also very nice. We appreciated the opportunity to purchase discounted direct to lift tickets for the ski area, too. The onsite restaurant (Truby's) has great pizza, too!

Tucked away off the main road is a beautiful, quiet place called Meadow Lake Resort. The resort is well maintained, staff are friendly and service is prompt, although we found the restaurant on site to be quite pricey and lacking in the service department. There is a pool and activities for the kids, movie rentals ($2), internet service and a fitness centre with hot tub, sauna, steam room and a small gym.

Great location, close to Whitefish, Kalispell, and shopping and hiking. And the resort itself is not too far away for us Canadian travellers.

Definitely recommended.
