We will be back in Glacier if only to stay at Bad rock.

All reviews say food is amazing- TRUE. Such attention to detail and flavor. Yum.

Pool table, air hockey, board games, snacks, soft water in showers, library STOCKED with local info, & personal attention.

We could not have enjoyed our stay any more than we did. Only regret is only staying 2 nights.

Please don't go, Bad Rock. Give us a year to come back!

Stayed here with friends and really liked it. We were in unit above guest house. Two king size bedrooms with two baths. Roomy and nice. Food was very good and staff very friendly. Close to Glacier. If you are in area should be a serious consideration.

This was our (my wife and) first experience in a bed and breakfast and it was fantastic! We booked this place based on reviews and the pictures on the website. Everything is just as it is represented. Mark, the owner, was very welcoming and a very nice guy to chat with. He he binders with all the restaurants in the area and gave us his top pics of where to go. He was never wrong! Every place he listed that we went to was superb. The room we stayed in was just as in the picture. Nice and quiet. No bleed over noise from the other room in the cabin. We could choose to be totally by ourselves in our room. Or hang out in the "big house", where snacks and beverages were provided. We also ate in the Rec room, where there were games like pool and air hockey along with exercise equipment. There was so much we could have done, but didn't have time to do. Then, there were the breakfasts.....they were awesome! I could go on and on, but I hope you get the idea that this is a great place....especially if you want some pointers on stuff to do in the area. We found Mark to be a genuinely charming individual and would certainly stay here again if we take another vacation at Glacier. Staying here made our vacation!!!

Room Tip: I accidentally hit the button for swimming pool and room service. I can't get it to reset. Sor...

This B&B is as close as you will get to Glacier and stay in a nice, comfortable space with amenities for a reasonable price. We looked at lodges and motels in and near the park, and after a lot of research chose Bad Rock. It was not only convenient to the park, but it also gave us close options for dining in Columbia Falls, Kalispell and Whitefish. All that aside, you will love Mark. He is friendly, funny, and has more stories than you can possibly imagine. He also knows a lot about the area, so you will get great local advice. Serena is also really friendly, as is the staff. Breakfast was great, too. We stayed in the Avalanche Lake room, had plenty of space and slept well.

The owner, Mark, described his philosophy to me thusly, “I’ve been fortunate enough to travel extensively, and I thought, when I opened my own B&B, that I wanted to provide everything that I’d always wished I had available to me at the places I’ve stayed.” Well, Mark succeeds at this and then some. I tend to like to plan in advance and for most eventualities and pack heavy, but you could pretty much pack a change of clothes and no accessories and have a wonderful, comfortable vacation just by availing yourself of this wonderful property and Mark & Serena’s fine hospitality.

Beyond the lovely room, gorgeous setting and fine breakfast, the B&B offers free of charge the ability to borrow hiking supplies (bear spray, poles, backpacks and coolers) and bikes (including a bike rack). The B&B has a separate rec room with a washer/dryer & a full kitchen (as well as a grill and fire pit outside) available to all guests. The main house has a public area with TV/DVD and lending library, as well as complimentary wine, beer and soda. There are ample maps and guide books for Glacier Park available, though Mark himself is probably as useful a trove of information as the guidebooks.

The location was just fine – Columbia Falls is a cute town with a surprising amount of dining/shopping/supply options, and a reasonably short drive to Glacier Park’s West Entrance (We were there early in the season, in late May – I’m not sure if traffic could ever be an issue, but it certainly wasn’t for us).

We were extremely happy during our stay here – you really won’t want for anything – save perhaps for more time at this oasis.

Room Tip: The Junction Rooms are just set off a touch from the main house - we enjoyed the McDonald Lake room...

The idea of staying at Bad Rock B&B came after we spoke with Mark, the owner. His warm welcome and swift response to all our questions prior to our trip gave us the confidence to book our stay at Bad Rock. At our arrival nothing disappointed us. Mark's excellent knowledge of the area and recommendations of the hikes to do over four days were just great. We stayed (my husband and two sons) in one of the cabins. It was just perfect. It had all the amenities, and the best of all, it had a breathtaking view of the mountains. Nothing better than to wake up, go to the main house, where Mark had fresh coffee, and drink it in the balcony of our cabin looking at the mountains. Breakfast was different every day. Plenty of food and delicious. Mark and his assistant Christie were extremely helpful. I would love to go back and stay at Bad Rock B&B as I am certain it will be as amazing as our first time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay here. You have a choice of accommodations, all of which looked lovely. We stayed in one of the cabins separate from the main house. It was very roomy, clean and nice. Best of all, it was quiet. The B&B is away from the main road where houses are a quarter mile apart. The room had a refrigerator and microwave as well as a back door. There is a downstairs bar in the main house with a glass of wine or soft drink available to guests. Our host was very knowledgeable and was kind enough to loan us bear spray for our hiking excursions. Breakfast was very good. There actually can be quite a few guests staying there, so the conversations at breakfast were varied and fun. It was a great week and I recommend the B&B highly.
