“20 Minutes drive to Glacier NP”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

It's a budget motel and very close to Glacier NP and Kelispell. I had everything I need in Walmart Kelispell and spent one night there before entering Glacier NP. Their staff was great and helped us a discount on roomrate when check in. Room was ok and a typical Super 8.

Room at ground floor is very convenient to get ice and having breakfast.

Room Tip: Request a room not face to SR-2 for a quiet sleep.

This is an older Super 8 but reasonably well kept. The rooms are quite large but the washrooms are very small. Luckily the vanity/sink is separate. The room was clean and the beds fairly comfortable.

The included breakfast was pretty lacking even for a Super 8.

Hotel was a bit older. Water stains in the sink. Bed & pillows were old and lump. Room was somewhat damp and musty. Staff was good and rooms were clean, but it's hard when it's an old room. I was disappointed though that the advertised amenity of "refrigerator" turned out not to be a mini frig in your you room, but a community refrigerator in the common area. Not at all what we were expecting.

An overnight stay was pretty much as expected. The room was large with basic amenities. No fridge or microwave, but a nice table and chairs. There was a fairly large veranda which looked to be a nice place to be in good weather. Right on the main highway, it was a bit noisy. An A&W and a Minimart are right next to motel, otherwise there is a bit of a drive to restaurants and other amenities. OK! Good value for money in the area, but nothing exciting!

Spent one night at the Super 8 in Columbia Falls before flying out early the next morning. I booked a single room directly through Wyndom Hotels but was not upgraded even though the motel was less than half full. I checked in a little after 3 p.m. and was assigned a room (112) in the front of the hotel (about 30 feet from the Hwy 2. The noise was horrific! I asked for another room in the back and was given another room (113) across the hall! NOT much better. The carpet had not been vacuumed. The bathroom sink is a stand alone type with no cabinet or counter space for toiletries etc. They did not provide any plastic cups in the room but did have paper coffee cups and a coffee maker. I had to run the bathroom fan and the a/c-heater fan to drown out the road noise. There is a metal stair case just outside the room for second floor access that sounds like an earthquake when people use it. I did not try the continental breakfast because I left before 6:30. The staff was friendly and the hotel offers Wi-Fi. I think you can find a better value and/or better comfort elsewhere in the area. I would not stay there again.

Room Tip: Get a room as far away from the highway as possible but even then be aware that this is where the 18...
