Three Couples stayed here(family) as a part of our Yellowstone Vacation. This is a real ranch and guide service. The owners are very nice. They are hard working folks who have a wonderful family. Their daughter and son in law are very outgoing and so helpful. The grandchildren were delightful. The rooms were very clean and very nice. Each room has its own bathroom. The common area has plenty of room for visiting and a computer for access. There is a hot tub but we did not use it. There are horses in a coral near the home. They do a lot of work with Kids showing them how to ride. It was neat. The breakfasts were different every day and delicious. We had homemade waffles, fresh fruit, egg dishes, bacon, sausage, yogurt and breakfast muffins or cake. The blueberry coffee cake was our favorite. It was neat to visit with other guests in the dining area and find out ideas for the day. There is no cell service in the area but the owners have a phone which is available to make call and it is free. They have wireless internet but it is a little slow. They do have a computer which can be used. The town is just minutes away. There are not many choices in town for dining but that is understandable since the town is VERY small. The North East Entrance of Yellowstone is just minutes away. The park was beautiful... Don't miss the Bear Tooth Scenic Highway. We saw snow sking on July 4th off unbelieable "cliffs". The town of Red Lodge near the base of the Bear Tooth is very nice. There are several dining optons there and well worth the drive. We would highly recommend this place to travelers who plan to enter the Yellowstone park on the Northern area.

Room Tip: Don't miss Beartooth Scenic Drive.

We stayed here for two nights during our trip trough the US. Very nice place. Near to Yellowstone (a few miles from the entrance). The staff (Liz) was very friendly and helpful. She made great breakfast on both mornings. The place has a hottub outside which we used. Very nice with a view on the snowy backyard. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Beds are good. A great stay, definatly recommended!

I had a great stay at Skyline Ranch. I stayed with them in September for an Elk Hunt. Everything was great and they are always ready to take care of the customer. If you are looking to get away from it all and not give up any of the comforts of home you will enjoy Skyline Ranch. The food was nothing short of amazing, I loved every meal that was prepared. The Ranch has some of the best horses I have ever ridden. They seemed to make easy work of the rugged mountain terrainto. My guide had lived his whole life in the area and found me a beautiful 6X6 Elk to harvest. I would highly recommend a stay at Skyline Ranch to anyone looking for outdoor adventure and comfortable accomodations.

We got the room with the loft. What a beautiful place! Great breakfast! A home away from home! We were only there for one night, but look forward to going back.

Stayed with Liz & Vic Aug. 22 thru Aug. 26 while visiting Yellowstone for a flyfishing vacation with my brother-in-law. Very comfy lodge that makes you feel like you are part of the family. Breakfasts were very good and different each day. Vic took us on horseback into the Park to a backcountry stream the one day where we both caught plenty of fish. Although Cooke City is a small town, this area is a must place to stay if you plan on any activities in the Northeast corner of Yellowstone Park. Another great feature is the free phone service at the lodge since cell phone signals are harder to find than grizzly bear in Cooke City!
