“could be a lot better”
Reviewed 17 July 2011 for a stay in July 2011

I think that for $200 a night one would expect a dishwasher in the kitchen. Also a starter pack of a few basics like a pint of milk and a few tea bags some coffee and sugar and a few eggs (they have eggs for sale) would not break the bank and would be most welcome . Guests could make a cup of tea and not have to rush out again to the store especially if they have driven 4 hours to get there , even if they are going out to eat dinner. Some rentals in Europe even provide a bottle of wine if guests are staying a few days.
They would also need better quality fitted sheets on the bed as they kept slipping off the matrass during the night!Very irritating!! I think for what they provide it is too expensive

Management Response
17 Jul 2011
The toughest type of guest for an innkeeper is the one that does not make contact with the office with their concerns and then leaves a sub par review. This guest, bless her heart, was elderly and may not have noticed the Keurig single cup brewer and the assortment of coffees and teas on the kitchen counter. We were at fault on the sheets however and have since solved the problem with housekeeping. This could have been solved after the first night if we would have been made aware of it by the guest. We do have a number of egg laying hens on the ranch and we offer farm fresh eggs for sale for a nominal $2.50 per dozen. So sorry that you had these issues.....
