Stopped here on our way to Yellowstone National Park. It seems the whole family is involved: three boys, obviously brothers were taking orders, bussing tables and the youngest (of about ten, I'd say) wearing an apron and probably washing dishes. Mom? came out one time to size up the crowd, and a young lady who may have been big sister home from college for the summer was competent, quick with service and easily managed the lunch crowd.
The locals eat here and that's always a good sign. One group of eight to ten ladies met at a large table behind ours and we overheard all the news.
I had the cod filet sandwich. It was perfectly cooked FISH, not a rolled piece of thrice stepped on fish flavored mystery meat. The beer battered fries were obviously made there, not shaken out of a freezer box. My husband had the bison burger and was very happy with it.
This place is CLEAN. The service is prompt, polite and these young men/boys are obviously learning that nothing in life is free, one must work for it. Prices were very reasonable and portions were large.
If you're ever in Darby, stop for a bite. You will walk out too full but happy.
