“My favorite camping trip each year!”
Reviewed 17 June 2013

Our baseball team travels to Dillon each year for a tournament. The whole team and parents stay here with the boys in the cabins and the parents in campers and tents. I have to say year after year we have a blast. The owners are so friendly and the kids love them. The pool is nice for the little ones. The campsites and bathrooms are always super clean and so cute. Thank you Dillon KOA! See you next year!

Bob is a great host and gave us a clean cabin at a great rate. We were there preseason and things were still being prepared and repaired. Bathrooms were clean and everything functional. A few things could use some attention but the essentials were there (it's camping after all) and we could not have felt more welcome. Loved seeing the deer in the camp at dawn and dusk and wished I had a license and fly rod to try the river. Tent sites looked great.

We arrived HOURS early and the staff member went out her way to get us settled in. The owner, Pam, was like an old friend in under an hour. The bike rental was great, the sites are shady, river access is awesome. I almost wished we had a tent, the tent sites were so great. Bathrooms were VERY clean, shower was hot. The store is very well stocked. All in all we will be SURE to book many more nights next time! With top notch fishing all around Dillon, this KOA is the way to go! Thank you Pam!

We stayed here this weekend. For the most part, my KOA experience has not been great. Generic, not a lot of trees, not much privacy. We planned to go to Bannack Days and there weren't a lot of choices nearby, so we decided we would try our luck. Are we glad we did! Beautiful shady campsite right on the river. While we were setting up, we looked across the river to see a cow grazing on the riverbed! The pool looked nice, although we didn't go in. The sounds of the rushing river lulled us to sleep. The morning roosters across the way were pleasant but not overwhelmingly loud early in the morning (I wish I could say the same for the old fishin' buddies that were camped next door!)

It is really close to downtown, and the downtown is cute and worth exploring. The only complaint was that the bathroom got a bit rough at night, with a camper leaving their dirty clothes in a shower stall, which then got transferred to the sink, and the toilets could use a bit of TLC. But it didn't seem like enough of an issue to bother the owners about, and by early morning, the bathroom was in good order.

Bob and his family work really hard to make this one of the best campgrounds in all of Dillon. The sites are spacious, the grounds are beautiful and green, the restrooms, laundry area and pool are kept clean, stocked and ready for use. Located on a river, it is also just a stones throw to town, the fairgrounds and easy highway access. Early evenings you can hear some cars on the highway but nothing to get riled up about. They have a little store that has ice and firewood too. Our dog loves laying in the sun or relaxing under a tree. Very nice place!!

Room Tip: There are pull-thru sites as well. Lots of trees - any site is a good one!

...when I drove up, they were expecting us, and knew my name! I was impressed.

We only stayed one night in Dillon unfortunately. Next year, we're going back for a week. I love the town.

This KOA is right near downtowm - there are signs all over town, so you can't get lost. It's a small KOA - pool is nice and warm - they have a great petting zoo. My granddaughters went to see the zoo, and the owner gave us about 9 freshly laid eggs for our breakfast. It was so nice, and the eggs were delicious.

This KOA is really nice - the Kabins are done up really homey. It's quiet, and you get complimentary coffee and hot cocoa in the morning.

The owners go that extra mile for customer service and helping the visitors to the Kampground.

A +++++ Stay here....
