“One of the BEST”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 August 2014

If You are planning a trip to Montana and going to this area,it is well worth your time it to see this "Ag" Museum. One of the best museums that we have ever visited around the U.S.
You will not get bored-there is something for all ages.

Admission price($10) includes Ft Benton, with its adjacent museum and was quite reasonable.
Cindy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, and seemed to enjoy her job.

Taking a walk along the river and reading and learning more about Lewis and Clark and the history of Ft Benton was also fun. We spent all day(10:30-4:30 are their hours)and you get 2 days admission for the price so plan on staying over,if possible.

Ft Benton has a colorful and interesting past and they present it very well.

“A Large Museum with a Large Story”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014 via mobile

This museum is quite large and has an extensive display about farming in the Great Plains. There was a special exhibit of six stuffed buffalo on loan from the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. Outside is a recreated town from the turn of the 20th century - many of the buildings you could look into. This is one of five museums you could bundle into a tour. Take the time to see all five. It's well worth the money.

I have been here many times and it is always great. You can learn a lot about the history of the Great Plains and it's people.

“Much more than I expected”

This museum holds more little surprises than I thought it could. Talked with the girl at the desk and her knowledge seemed endless.

“Very informative”

Definately recommend purchasing a "museum pass" so you are able to take in the various museums throughout Fort Benton. Pride and the preservation of local history.
