Owner description: The theatre along with the entire town of Fort Peck was built by the US Army Corps of Engineers in the 1930's as part of building Fort Peck Dam. In its heyday, of the mid 1930's movies ran around the clock to entertain the workers. The Theatre is now a Historic Landmark and is now owned by the Fort Peck Fine Arts Council and has live performances on weekends in the summer.

WOW, This was the most fun we had on our trip to see Fort Peck. Our daughter and son (4&3) at the time had so much fun! We really liked how there were several many kids involved in the production of the play. We were told upon leaving that they do camps for kids interested in theatre. Something that we will look into when our kids reach the 8/9 group.
