After 13 hours of travelling from Calgary and landing at Bozeman airport to find our luggage was still in Denver (thanks a lot United) we were suffering an enormous sense of humour failure!
We arrived at the hotel at 9pm (our GPS directed us to a tiny lane behind the hotel, so should that happen to you stay on the main road, especially in the dark)
We checked-in, were given helpful recommendations for food, drink and a pub and then directed to our one bed, deluxe room. The lounge itself was big enough for a family of outstretched grizzly bears and the kitchen had a full-size dining table, a full-size hob, huge oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The bathroom was warm with ample fluffy towels and powerful, hot shower. The bedroom had an enormous tv and blu ray disc player.
- sense of humour restored!
We stayed for three nights but would happily return for seven. The bed was so comfy we hardly noticed that we were having to wake at 5am to go and meet our guide for the 'Yellowstone Bear Safari'.
There is a supermarket immediately opposite the hotel and as the kitchen is so well equipped, you be able to self-cater.
This was our third trip to Yellowstone and by far, the best value, cleanest, most well equipped hotel and friendliest staff we have experienced.More
