This is the most comfortable B&B in which I have ever stayed! The accomodations were excellent, the location perfect, and the hosts, Nancy and Richard Parks, exceptionally welcoming. This is a great launching spot from which to head out and explore the Park or fish from dawn to dusk while looking forward to your return to the restful comfort of this lovely turn - of - the - twentieth - century home for a great night's sleep and a wonderful breakfast the next morning! Nancy and Richard are devoted to making you feel at home and,of course, they both have a wealth of knowledge about the Park which they will willingly share with you to enhance your visit.

My partner and I stayed here on one of the nights of our honeymoon through Yellowstone. We stayed in the cabin out back on our last night in the area and it was perfect. We had the choice of a room in house, which would have been awesome (the house was built in the early part of the 1900s and is impeccably maintained) but when we had the chance to stay in an old cabin out back, we went with that. Very cute place, with a large foot tube with about 295 bath salts. Wifi was excellent, and we were literally right downtown (off a side street), and so it was two blocks to everything. We came back from dinner and spent the warm evening on the porch, reading the news paper, drinking tea and eating little crumpets. We slept amazingly, and in the morning sat down for a hearty breakfast with more things to eat than you could shake a stick at. The caretakers are wonderful people and full of great advise.

Room Tip: Go with the cabin!!!

If you"re looking for a bed & breakfast in a beautiful location, this charming spot is a good choice. Located at the entrance of Yellowstone National Park, this quaint B & B is a restored early 1900's house with a breathtaking English garden. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which I found quite refreshing. At the breakfast, you will enjoy interesting conversations with other lodgers while eating a delicious homemade breakfast. Also, the owner's suggestions on where to go in the park was very helpful because they are so familiar with the area.

Room Tip: I would request the upstairs room that has it's own bathroom.

The Gardiner Guesthouse is a Victorian house with the most loveable owners. The rooms are beautiful and spotless (we stayed in room 3 because it has an ensuite bathroom); the bed is comfortable. This B&B is perfectly located to explore this side of Yellowstone NP and at walking distance from shops and restaurants, which is most convenient. The biggest asset to this place, however, is not the location, nor the beautiful house or the wonderful bed, it is the very charming Nancy who goes out of her way to make her guests feel at home. She makes the most wonderful breakfast and is very helphul and kind. The breakfast is a feast with a lot of different things: hot and cold, sweet and salty. One thing is certain: you won't go hungry under Nancy's watch! We can't wait to return here!

Room Tip: Room 3, ensuite bathroom

Nancy and Richard have made such a warm, welcoming B&B in this very quaint Montana town just a few blocks from the impressive Northern gate into Yellowstone. My husband and very tall son (who loved the closet bed under the eaves with the 5-bars for the internet!) arrived late afternoon for a 3-nights' stay. Our hostess was away helping another guest, so we just wandered into the home and settled on the front porch by the beautiful garden to wait on Nancy. When she arrived apologetically, we had already come to the conclusion that we had arrived at a very special home. Our room was spotless, with a day bed as well as a bed and then the corner closet twin room for our son. Nancy has thought of everything--from Epsom salts for hikers' sore feet, to cotton balls and wonderful amenities for the bathroom. The breakfasts were superb-2 seatings at 0730 or 0830 with a different menu each morning. We always chose the 0730 seating, and had the good fortune to be joined by Richard with many stories of Yellowstone and Montana. His fly fish shop is just around the corner, and his stories are fascinating. We have been to Yellowstone many times over the years, but this B&B served as a wonderful base to explore the NE quadrant, from Lamar Valley and Tower area, down to Canyon. Of course it was amazing each night to drive through Mammoth on our way home to Gardiner saying good night to the resident elk..Plus driving through the herd of bison in Lamar Valley! Nancy made our stay so much fun--from the candles for our romantic glass of wine on the front porch 1 evening, to the gift of bear spray to use for our hikes left by fellow travelers. Her recommendations for restaurants were excellent, and Richard contributed with recommendations for special drives and hikes in Yellowstone. Make the journey to this wonderful Victorian home as a base for your travels into Yellowstone-you will be so glad you stayed in such a special place!!

Nance has done such an incredible job making this home just like home. Breakfast was superb and the home was simply homey and comfortable. Food was fresh and very well prepared. Coffee was excellent! I would have stayed longer if we only knew how good it was. Thanks nance!

They have really nice rooms and nice breakfast. They are great in every small detail (e.g., they have bath salt in the bathroom, and maybe a Teddy bear in your bed). What is more important, the hostess has a really affecting love story.
