While in town for a convention stopped in with some collogues for a cocktail before a conference dinner. The atmosphere is great, fresh, comfortable, and warm. Had great service the entire time we where there, very attentive without being to attentive. I had a Manhattan and was very pleased, the rest of the group had a variety of beers and they all enjoyed it. We didn't partake in food this go around, but I remember it being good from a previous trip.

First off, the Faster Basset crepe place has been replaced with Big Mouth BBQ. We decided to give it a try and were a little disappointed. Food wasn't even warm. The brisket had good flavor but cold. The kielbasa had a good Smokey flavor, but the beans tasted like they were straight from a can, and the potato salad was blah. The corn bread muffins were not fresh. With some effort, this place would be worth coming back for, but until then there are many other restaurant choices.

Visited here on 3 July 2017. Large and spacious room, although a bit confusing when you first walk in. Instead of ordering at bar which is right at the entrance, you have to go over to a serving counter tucked away over on the left of the room.

Ordered the Big Texan BBQ burger with pulled pork, pick from board at food counter and with the help of a very helpful and cheery lady server. Total cost about $9 incl. taxes and the pulled pork was delicious. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you like your food with a beer or three.

Stayed next door at the Staybridge. Was happy to find the place open. Aaron was a welcoming, solid bartender. Loved the Mountain Man beer. Nice brewery.
