Located in the older part of the downtown area very close to the Greyhound bus station. Reception was efficient and pleasant. Booked through Hotels.com. Was given a Parking "permit" for the underground car park right on site. Also 2 vouchers for breakfast in the on site restaurant. The climb up the rather dingy concrete stairs to our room wasn't the most welcoming of introductions to the rooms. the room itself was OK. good size bed and clean, it wasn't however that comfortable and seemed to sag in the middle. Bathroom was older but serviceable. Breakfast was the restaurants "Lite Breakfast" which consisted of 2 eggs, 2 rashers of bacon and toast plus Coffee or tea. Very good value to be included in the room price of $64. We noticed it also had a =n outside swimming pool and terrace which obviously would only be available in the summer.

This hotel is fine for what it is, an older place located in the heart of the historic district in Great falls, Montana. The lobby is comfortable, as are the rooms and the WiFi strength in my room was great. Others in our troupe said they could not access it at all from their rooms. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms roomy, although the shower heads create more of a mist than a spray.

This is an older Quality Inn, part of historic downtown Great Falls, but some updates have been done like decent linens and flat screen tvs.

I stayed in a king room which had double sinks and toilet and shower in the same space with a door for privacy, there was plenty of hot water, full cable TV lineup, fridge/microwave, and a cozy bed. There is a swimming pool and outside area with table and chairs for lounging during the summers months. Also attached to the building is the Tap House Grill where you get vouchers for a free breakfast off a limited menu. It's nice to be able to sit down in a real restaurant as opposed to continental breakfast. There is also a bar adjoining the building which may be convenient if you want a drink within walking distance. Also a parking garage is available and offers secure parking for all customers.

The staff was friendly, though could have been a bit more professional, and they accommodated a room change to a quieter and cooler room. Only drawbacks were the older A/C and heating units...they can be a little noisy. Also, housekeeping could step it up a notch and do some dusting and be a little more thorough overall with cleaning. Also WiFi signal isn't the best; or at least it wasn't on the 3rd floor. Maybe one closer to the ground floor would be better?!

I usually stay at the Holiday Inn or Best Western but both were booked hence why I stayed here. Though hesitant, for fear of the unknown, I booked this hotel. Overall accommodations were clean and comfy and I would stay here again.

This is an older Quality Inn. Not bad by any means. The carpet and decor was fine especially for the price.

We were in a suite. This was a nice large room and much more than we expected. The bathroom was clean. The shower nice and hot. Flat screen tv with a good variety of channels. The bed slept great.

My only complaint and one management needs to take care of is housekeeping. The sheets, towels and carpet were clean. I always no matter where I stay take Clorox wipes and clean remotes and anything else that I am going to touch. The nightstands had rings where drinks had been placed on the table. This was visible without looking for it. The table which was located by the tv was disgusting. Your housekeeping person obviously never wipes the furniture off.

This needs to be addressed. I would suggest the manager spot check several rooms a day for cleanliness. Housekeeping might care if the management cared.

I would stay here again. It wasn't bad but, dust and such should not be an issue. This motel could have got at least a four from me if not for this.

The breakfast next door was good. I had french toast and bacon. I am not sure what others expect from a free breakfast but I was happy with mine.

We booked this hotel as a base camp for our visit to Great Falls and Helena. We had no regrets. The rooms were ample and ours came with fridge and microwave. There was a swimming pool which we did not get to use as we were usually out on an adventure. The staff were friendly and accommodated a room change from the 3 floor to the first floor to get better internet wireless reception. Only drawback was the free breakfast. It was a simple breakfast but enough. The service is slow. Get there early if you do not want to wait. The hotel has underground parking. Its best to plan to have meals at other locations. The restaurant at the hotel is a hit or miss situation. Quality of food, mediocre.
The hotel rooms had all the amenities and were clean. Just be careful of rooms with the older air-conditioners. They can be noisy.

Room Tip: Great central location if you prefer quiet.

You can tell that the downtown Quality Inn in Great Falls, Montana, was a swinging spot in its earlier years. It has a cool layout with the outdoor pool on the second floor. However, this hotel has fallen into disrepair. The bathroom was not clean and there was disgusting grime, including used tissues under the sink that nobody had bothered to clean up. We requested on our first night that the sheets be changed and returned to find the bed made, but the same ink stain on the sheets because they did not change them, even upon request. And unless you want nightmares, DO NOT look under the bed! EEEEEEWWWWWWW! On a positive note, the continental breakfast was great and our bed was very comfortable with a down comforter alternative that was very nice. This place could be great again with fresh paint, an actual cleaning crew and some serious updating. We really enjoyed downtown Great Falls window shopping and just tooling around viewing some of the super cool street sculptures.

P.S. If you visit Great Falls, be sure to go to the Lewis & Clark Interpretative Center! It was fantastic!

We have stayed many times here and this weekend was a mess, being non drinkers our whole party of 10 stayed poolside and found out we were sharing it with about 6 DRUNKS that almost sunk our 4 year old and offered our 15 year olds if they wanted a drink, IN FRONT OF ME(dad).. We then tried avoiding any altercations and removed ALL of our children from the pol and went to our rooms, when the drinkers kept pushing it and harassing us, i then called the front desk and asked her to call the police or things might get ugly?????? she then came up herself rather than call the police and yelled at them and we simply asked if she would please call the police. At this time she puts her finger in my sister in laws face and says u dont know who u are messing with and to watch her back??? WOW , at this time i am standing besides myself in shock( now we are the bad guys for wanting our families and children to have a good time, OUCH, well later after we finally talked with the very friendly police officers we thought it would just go away////LMFAO!!!!!! the next morning we were accused by the front dest of being drunk and out of line and also heard them say to the drunks sorry bout all this guys!!!!!!!!!!!So after the 2nd time my weekend was ruined her at the PONDEROSA INN QUALITY INN, by drunks at poolside not even using it!!!! They need more help like dave the maintenance man, hard working ,GREAT WITH THE PEOPLE and understands where his paychecks come from, thank u dave, but will never stay here again and will tell everyone i can not to, Dirty rooms and rude OFFICE MANAGER as she called herself but never have i seen a manager treat customers like that!
