A very nice church that is well worth a visit.
At the entrance there is a folder giving some details about the church, but there is also a "guided" tour. Unfortunately we were too late for any tour.

St. Helena Cathedral was very pretty ….. fairly large and very well taken care of. My grandsons enjoyed walking inside and looking at all the Stained Glass

You can see the spires from just about anywhere in Helena. Beautiful stained glass windows. A lovely short visit.

Churches like this is hard to find in North America. The architecture, the design, the stain glass, and most of all the serene atmosphere inside is all worth visiting. Helena is a small town, not much to offer. But this church alone is a real gem of the town. Extremely well kept and maintained.

FYI: walk around the neighbourhood around the church and you'll find many unique houses build in early 1900's, a haven for many photographs.

This magnificent building is a landmark in Helena. Gorgeous architecture and stained glass. Several afternoons during the week (we were there on a Tuesday), knowledgeable docents are there to point out interesting features and explain the history of the cathedral. The gentleman with whom we spoke was a parishioner who obviously loved the cathedral and enjoyed presenting it to visitors. Highly recommended.
