Known for beans and steak, this is the spot!! Our group visit began with June giving us a brief history of Ingomar and the Jersey Lily. Then we were shown how to construct and eat 'Sheepherders Hors d' oeuvres! These are made with food items a sheep herder could take without refrigeration in his wagon - sweet onions, cheese, small piece of orange slice. Beans with homemade croutons and salsa were so tasty. Don't miss the rest room facilities!!

The Jersey Lilly is the ONLY restaurant in town. Fun visit! Food marginal. One goes for the experience and a step back in time. They have running water now in the town. The restrooms are "nicely designed" outhouses in back of the restaurant. A bit of the whimsey. . . "Western style" whimsey, that is. Go with several people--go for the fun of it!

My cousin (who knows the entire area very well) said he should take us to Ingomar for a steak. He drove us out a two-lane road, past cattle and antelope, to the "town," and lo and behold, there was the saloon... Quite the atmosphere, like walking into the past! The place is filled with memorabilia, animal heads on the wall, old photos and newspaper articles, and the antique bar is impressive. We ordered the steak dinners, which came with unique appetizers, saucepans of bean soup with croutons and salsa, salads, the steaks, and fried potatoes and garlic toast. Quite a meal! Quite an experience! Worth the drive, for sure!

The Jersey Lilly has the best food in town! haha! Only food in town but it is terrific! They are famous for the bean soup, as well they should be! we have been prairie dog hunting outside of Ingomar for years. The Jersey Lilly feels like walking into an old western movie. Their breakfast and dinner is amazing. You will leave full and happy every time! I cannot wait to go back!

Been here many times, it doesn't change. There's no other place like it. In what's left of a ghost town. (Pop 14 in May 2015), theLilly's the only place for miles, stop in for a bite and a trip back in time to the real west. Now opens at 10:00AM, call ahead to serif they're open. Burgers, steaks, great breakfasts, Boots and June will take care of you. But don't be shy, ask questions.
