“OK for our needs.”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

Located on south side of town, the light was on for us. The property had a large number of rooms, most filled on a Saturday night. Our 2nd floor room had no elevator, we worked out the maze to the stairs. Our no smoking room had a faint smoke smell, we got use to it. The rug was badly stained in several places, some apparently from former pet guests. Otherwise the room was spartan, but clean.

Room Tip: Park near stairs, pack lite suitcases. Laundry and multiple ice machines next to office,

This facility was clean and comfortable. It was what sould be expected of this motel chain. Outdoor pool. The only disadvantage was that we were towing a trailer and the parking lot is limited in space. Since all rooms were occupied, we had to park next door in a restaurant parking lot.

we were surprised at the cost of the room, first of all , it was priced at 94$ for one night for 2, then reduced to $85. Staying here in the winter is much cheaper usually between 40-60$ so we had a big surprise when asked for $80 plus. We were told it's mid summer, that's why it costs more!. Ok, please could you provide rooms with decent big bath towels, they were more like hand towels.Could we also have a hairdryer! On the upside the bathroom was spotless as was the room.
We were also reprimanded for not booking in advance. Well we were having a break and wanted to stay one night in Kalispell, but reception were not having any of it. We should book!
Will stay there again but it would be nicer to have the little extras for the higher price.

Room Tip: yes, it does have wifi but we didn't need it.

We arrived late into Kalispell and knew driving into Glacier National Park would be a poor idea. We stayed here for the night. It was clean and air conditioned. The front desk staff were courteous. The beds were not comfortable. The shower was good. So, if you are landing late and leaving early the next day, this is not a bad choice. It was not expensive.

This motel was easy to find, right on highway 93 as you enter town from the south. It was very clean and modern, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The motel provided excellent value and we would stay here again, the next time we visit.

We arrived well after midnight, luckily our room was held. Being a Motel 6 we expected nothing fancy - and that's exactly what we got. For honesty, I usually stay at a Hilton or Marriott property, but chose not to do so this time around - we would be in about 1 AM and on the road again by 7, so why pay extra?

Our room was right up front, a set of earplugs is highly recommended. No shampoo was provided, so bring your own. Parking was rather difficult, too few spaces for that many rooms, we ended parking at a restaurant next door.

Check in was efficient, and there are reasonably priced vending machines next to the office. WiFi is advertised, but costs $2.99 a day - not expensive, but why not free?

Would stay here again if similar travel situation calls for it.

Granted, we made a conscious choice that we just needed a room for the night as a stay over before heading out to find a campground spot the next morning, so perhaps we should have known better. Our room was a smoking room (I don't remember being given an option when reserving, but may have just missed it). When we asked if we could change, we were told they were full and they gave us a bottle of stuff to spray. Room smelled horrible, and we woke up feeling nasty in the morning. At least we were very happy to get to our camp site and fresh air! We probably should have paid more attention when reserving, but if you do decide to stay here, make sure you know what room you are getting.
