This is without a doubt one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. Our room was right next to the fitness center, giving us a non-stop treadmill serenade of beeps, grunting and pounding feet. Housekeeping was lazy and the pool and hot tubs were dirty. When the people above us moved, our floors bounced. Definitely NOT worth the price.

We stayed four nights at the Red Lion. It was our first long trip with a dog. When I mentioned this at check-in our room was changed to a first floor room with a sliding glass door opening to a nice enclosed garden area in the middle of the hotel. It was very nice letting our pup do his business without having to walk around the building some grass. They also gave us a doggie welcome bag with some treats!

The room was adequate with a tv, fridge and microwave. My one complaint of the room is that the window did not open.

The pool was lots of fun, there is also a sauna and two hot tubs (one inside in the pool area and one outside in the enclosed garden area).

The breakfast was good, the omelet station is a nice perk.

The hotel is located at the end of the Kalispell Regional Mall. Plenty of parking. The hotel is right in the middle of Kalispell. A walgreens is within walking distance. The reason I gave this hotel four stars instead of five is that I felt the price was a bit high enough though it was a nice hotel.

Room was very clean, a little outdated but nothing to complain. About, shower upgrade and everything would have been perfect. The breakfast was excellent! Front desk friendly and recommended eats and things to do/see!

The Red Lion in Kalispell could really be a nice property if they just paid a little more attention to the public areas, the halls and lobby etc. were dingy. The room was clean, and had a fridge and micro, but the room rates were expensive. The breakfast was the best part of the hotel.

We do regret the way you feel about our property, but would like to note that our housekeeping staff does daily cleaning of the public areas (halls, lobby areas, etc.). In regards to the lobby, we have locals & guests alike that love to take pictures in front of our authentic wood burning fireplace often using it as a backdrop for Senior pics, holiday cards, roadtrip/vacations experiences, etc.

We are please to hear that you enjoyed the state in which your room was cleaned and that you also were able to partake in our great Roaring Start Breakfast Buffet with the made-to-order omelette station.

If you plan any further trips into our area please feel free to contact me personally (jason.tietema@redlion.com) and I will assist you in finding great rates year round.

We stayed for a week with our family. The service was the BEST we have ever experienced. The value of the stay far exceeded the fair price we paid. The breakfast was that equal of a Perkins or Denny's restuarant, the selection and personal attention was excellent. The room was quiet and clean. The hotel had a small mall attatched which was nice for some shopping on a rainy day. The lobby was beautiful and the employees were all delightful, there was no request that was not met with a smile. The pool area was clean and provided pool towels for the kids. We felt very comfortable and safe here. We felt like millionaires!

Very convenient location. Check in very efficient and fast. Clean room and nicely updated bathroom. Beds very comfortable with 4 comfy pillows per bed and plenty of towels. Breakfast was delicious and included an omelet station with about 10 choices for ingedients, sausage and bacon, breakfast potatoes, waffles, scrambled eggs, juices, yogurt and fruit, excellent coffee, really good granola and several other cereals, toast, muffins, bagels. Since there for a couple days, appreciated the microwave and mini fridge in room. Would most definitely recommend.

Room Tip: They have elevators, no no concerns if you don't like steps.

My Hubby and I stayed at the Red Lion for a romantic Anniversary get away. It has a wonderful location close to the main drag. Our room was large, bed super comfy and the place was quiet. It's also very pet-friendly. Would totally stay here again!
